They are hard to deal with.
It used to be good, for some reason it isn't as effective as it used to be.
I do not like that you can not create a rebuttal or feedback on the reviews.
I received a couple of calls last week of people requiring estimates for things we don't even do - not related to our trade and now I will be charged $45- $50 for those calls. It is a bit pricey. That is the main concern.
The way they report their information is frustrating. The lead reports are always lacking.
I feel that all the changes they have made has become higher maintenance for us. The percentage was higher and we only paid for jobs we actually got but now we are paying a lot more.
It really has to do with the economics. The marginal cost of using BPR is so high it is not clearly adventitious.
It is expensive and they are not willing to budge on their pricing.
It could be good for the right friend depending on the situation. Geographical break down of the areas are to large. I am trying to target an area and it is not working well.

Best Picks actually screens the companies they list, unlike Angie and Home Advisor
Have seen a decline in quality leads over the last 3-4 years.
I think it is ridiculous that we have to pay for sales calls and non-revenue building calls that we receive.
I do not see how this company is any different then any other internet search
It depends on the industry, not a great fit for ours.
Though everyone should do their due diligence, I feel that Best Picks may have "grandfathered" some companies that have changed over the years.
BPR took one of the two agreed-to categories out of the book after we renewed, and never communicated to us until we learned when the books were starting to be distributed.
We receive quality leads from Best Pick
need to be an established, organized contractor to manage your account with BPR
good leads come in thru this source
You are the only lead generation company that I am aware of that will still bill for calls that are clearly not a lead, such as a sales person using your book for leads. Other companies will remove those calls from the billed leads.
