KC Green Energy specializes in the design and installation of solar electric energy systems. KC Green Energy was created in 2008 as a division of the family owned general contractor, Kautz Construction. Our Headquarters is located in beautiful Lancaster, Pennsylvania where we own and operate our own solar electric systems across 3 buildings with over 500 solar modules. In 2011, we successfully expanded our operations to New Jersey and opened an office in Cherry Hill to better serve our commercial customer in New Jersey and residential alike. In 2012, we expanded our operation to serve the Massachusetts market. Our team has over 30 years of construction and electrical experience and knows what it takes to make quality and craftsmanship a reality. More
Roofing:
Kautz Construction has roots in the roofing business with over 30 years of experience in everything from residential jobs to large scale commercial projects. We are approved applicators for several of the largest roofing manufacturers in the country. We special in cool white TPO roofs, and often pair our solar installations with roofing projects.
Electrical:
One of the most important aspects of a solar electric system is electric! KC Green Energy solar electric systems are professionally installed by our in-house electrical contractor, KC Electric, LLC. KC Electric was created to self perform the electrical contracting work created by Kautz Construction. This work includes new construction, retail fit-outs, lighting projects, service upgrades, commercial and municipal jobs, and much more. This wealth of experience led to a seamless transition into the solar business. KC Electric, LLC was acquired by KC Green Energy in 2011 due to extensive growth in solar, but still performs conventional electrical work for many clients.
