Overall, I was pleased with the job and professionalism. My only complaint is that unnecessary damage was caused to my flooring.
Rytech did not clean up the water damage correctly the first time. There was water sitting on the floor the whole time, and they did not check under the flooring and baseboards at all. I have asthma and have had a lot of issues during this project. The second crew said they could not believe that they did not rip the floor out the first time, and the insurance adjuster said the same thing.
I was very satisfied with the service that they provided.
The initial response was spot-on. Rytech installed fans and a dehumidifier within 24 hours. Unfortunately, the follow-up was not as good. After three weeks, the insurance adjuster informed me that they should be checking weekly to ensure everything was on schedule I called Rytech and they sent someone out. Notably, they missed water which had seeped under the floors and damaged our kitchen cabinets. They were discovered with significant mold five weeks after Rytech's initial visit and inspection.
They were fairly prompt, though we had some issues with them listening to me. They kept popping my circuit breakers. They actually started a fire. I was disappointed that they wouldn't listen to me. They melted three of my outlets.
They were very efficient. Once we found a leak, they did everything right. The other company I had was terrible. I was very satisfied with Rytech.
They did a really great job. They did what they said they were going to.
They came out immediately, but they were a little bit sloppy on some things that they did with the cleanup.
They did a wonderful job.
It was extremely difficult to communicate with the company. When the job was finally completed after a very long time large staples from hanging sheets of plastic were left in the walls and woodwork. No one ever answered my calls about getting them removed. I had to pay a painter extra to remove them because I was unable to remove them myself. This was unacceptable both in the way the job was finished and the lack of communication to discuss it. Would not recommend this company.
They were polite & professional
Overall a great experience. Friendly, knowledgeable staff. Professional work. We would definitely recommend Rytech if the opportunity arises.
They were very easy to do business with and were very friendly.
They were on time, very personable, professional & knowledgeable. They answered my questions and offered helpful information.
The communication is terrible, despite the fact that they are professionals and do a good job.
They followed through on what was needed to be done.
They did good work as far as I know. They moved the furniture and broke down the bed. They were supposed to put it back together. They did not put it back together. I do not know where the screws should go. I cannot put the bed back together.
Don't get me wrong, the guys were extremely nice. When they came and set everything up, they disconnected the drain line on my air conditioner, which is what caused the issue of the flooding. When they set everything out to dry, they disconnected that line and could have caused my house to flood again. I think they needed a little more training.
Professional, knowledgeable, dependable, and respectful.
The work was good, however they are trying to collect money for services that weren't rendered.
workers did a ok job. BUT, one of them took a picture of our bank check and tried to pass several bogus checks.
Rytech - The Capital Region was on time, considerate of the working space, didn't bother anyone, super nice, and they got the job done as expected quickly.
I am the owner of a rental house in Fl that my insurance company is handling the remediation and restoration due to water leak damage and I have also a property mgr who is there seeing the results so as far as I can trust them and know, I think all is going well and if I could see would be happy but have not as yet seen myself their work.
They were quick to respond and handle issues
There were 2 workers. One White and one Black. One of the 2 workers took a picture of my wife checking acct. I think he sold it to someone. I have no way of proving it. They try to cash 4 checks. One for $2000 another one for about $2000, and another one for $5400
We got a call from our bank because of insufficient funds b/c we did not have that kind of money. We were about to close that account. We brought it to the bank attention.
I also called Tower Hill Ins. Company b/c they were subcontracted from Tower Hill company.
