Why no free estimates? The "Free estimates" model in tree health care does not work because it can encourage bias in commission-based salespeople. This creates double-mindedness toward earning a commission, and leaving you with questions, wondering if they were simply "selling" to get paid.

You need answers, not more questions.

Charging nominal fee to cover our time, which also applies as a credit toward future work, eliminates this bias and for most people, puts to rest any question. If you hire us for your tree work, you'll know that you're receiving the highest level of tree care. But if not, you still come away with a solid, actionable plan for the future of your tree's health and safety.

However, because we actually perform tree work, we realize that “some” may still remain skeptical as to any potential biases which may remain. So, in our continued pursuit for full transparency regarding our integrity, we also offer you the option, prior to us coming out, to simply let us know that we won’t be able to “throw our name in the hat” regarding the bids you may receive on potential work found. This way, you know beyond a shadow of a doubt, that we are performing the work of Consultation Only (not a tree service). And as expected, the consultation fee remains the same. :-)
