Read this if you’re thinking about buying a John Gravitt home… Our family was looking to purchase a home and thought it would happen a lot faster than it did. Without going into all the details, it took over five months and four offers before it happened. As you can imagine, we learned more than we wanted to when it came to foundations, energy efficiency (or deficiency), builder tendencies, and much more. In short, my spouse and I became the epitome of a home-shopper hypochondriac. One Sunday afternoon, we ended up at a John Gravitt open house and took down the number from their website. I called that evening and got what I thought was a standard voicemail system, and left a message for “John”. The next morning, John himself called us back and talked to us at length about his company. Then, he offered to meet us out at the house to learn more about it! (He ended up meeting us that evening on his way to his child’s sporting event.) After that, it got serious. We told our real estate agent that we were interested and wanted to make an offer. Being new construction, we didn’t realize how the home was still an “unfinished” product. So, we did an initial walkthrough and laid out all of our hypochondriac concerns to Mikael Gravitt. Mikael Gravitt is by far the primary reason that we felt empowered to go down the path of buying the home. His kind and understanding approach really helped us feel like our anxieties were warranted, and that his team could easily address them. (To be clear, the home passed nearly every inspection requirement with flying colors. Our punch-list contained mostly aesthetic requests, and feature additions that were shown to be included per the listing agents’ MLS description.) Mikael not only has the calm demeanor to guide people through every little concern, but he also possesses the knowledge of a great builder. We cannot say enough about Mikael and his attention to detail and overall execution leading up to our closing. My wife and I want to express our sincere gratitude and appreciation for the professionalism and white-glove treatment provided to us by John and Mikael Gravitt. Anyone looking for a quality home with an above-and-beyond experience should seek them out immediately.
