GuildQuality Employee Spotlight: Erin RosintoskiOctober 26th, 2017 by
Happy Two-Year Anniversary Erin!
Name: Erin Rosintoski
Title: Senior Business Development Manager
Start Date: October 5, 2015
Tell me a little about yourself – where are you from, what brought you to Atlanta, and what brought you to GuildQuality?
I was born and raised in Atlanta and went to Davidson College in North Carolina. After graduation, I returned to Atlanta and was looking everywhere for a job when I discovered an opening posted by a fellow Davidson grad (Geoff Graham), for a company called GuildQuality. I basically hounded Geoff until he was forced to hire me! That was in 2004. During that time, I worked on the sales team, then I ran the Member Services department, and then I left in 2009 to get my masters degree. A few years later, in a fun twist of fate, I boomeranged back to GuildQuality to join our Business Development team.

Tell me about your favorite GQ memory?
I’m going to go way back for this one….around 2005/2006, one of the sales team’s favorite activities was to go behind the office and use a 3-man slingshot to shoot fruit from the back deck. We’d shoot out over the field and see who could go furthest. Sometimes we’d shoot it into the brick wall for a “citrus shower” and sometimes we’d shoot straight up and time how long it took to reach land. It should come as no surprise that those years were not the company’s most profitable.
How do you think GQ has impacted the home construction/remodeling industry?
As someone who has experienced GuildQuality and the industry over a pretty wide time span, I’m proud of just how innovative and impactful GuildQuality has been to our industry. In 2005, there were very few companies out there collecting customer reviews or trying to give builders and remodelers a systematized way to measure customer sentiment. Monitoring your online reputation, something that might have seemed crazy back then, is an absolute must today, and GuildQuality was one of the first in our industry to help companies do it.
If you had to eat the same meal for the rest of your life – breakfast, lunch, and dinner—what would that meal be and why?
TACOS. I can basically turn anything into a taco and never get tired of eating it. Breakfast taco? Yumm. Taco truck for lunch? I’m in! Tacos for dinner? Sounds great!
Do you have a hidden talent? If so, what is it?
I learned to knit about 2 years ago and I love it! I am moderately good at it, so I’ll go ahead and claim it as a talent 🙂
What is your favorite thing to do in Atlanta area?
Ride bikes on the beltline! I am a total ITP’er, and love to ride around town with my husband and our daughter. She rides in a bucket on my husband’s cargo bike, which she loves and always gets a lot of “wows” from passerbys.
Out of all the restaurants you’ve ever been to, which is your absolute favorite and where is it located?
I love to eat. I’d even go so far as to call myself a foodie. One of the best meals I’ve ever had was here in Atlanta at a restaurant called Staplehouse. The food is as much a work of art as it is delicious (which is no easy feat – sometimes beautiful food doesn’t taste good). In addition, they support a good cause, the Giving Kitchen, which provides emergency assistance grants for Atlanta area restaurant workers facing an unanticipated crisis.
