What's your recommendation rate with your customers?
It’s that time of year again, Guildmaster Award application season! The GuildQuality Guildmaster Awards celebrate service excellence among home builders, remodelers, developers, property managers, home services contractors, and real estate professionals. The awards are open to all Guildmembers who apply. We began accepting applications in October, and will announce the award winners on or about May 1 of 2013.
All of the available information you need regarding qualifications for the Guildmaster Award can be found on the Award Qualifications page, but we thought it would be helpful to provide some answers to our most frequently asked Guildmaster Award questions here. If we haven’t answered your question after reading the following, please don’t hesitate to contact our support staff at email@example.com or by calling 888.355.9223 ext. 2.
Let the Q&A begin:
Where do I apply?
To apply for a Guildmaster Award, visit the Marketing Admin section of your account. From there you’ll select the tab reading: Guildmaster Application.
Once you’ve clicked on Guildmaster Application, you’ll immediately view the application. Upon completion, click: Submit My 2013 Guildmaster Application.
How will I know if my application was received?
After clicking the Submit My 2013 Guildmaster Application button, this page will display the following text box:
Receipt of your application will be acknowledged here, and additionally you’ll notice that your company’s status as a candidate for a 2013 Guildmaster Award will be posted on your member profile page for a period of 120 days with a link for past customers to notify GuildQuality if they have not previously received a survey.
After I’ve submitted my application, am I able to update the information?
Yes! Your application will always be available for you to view or revise within the Guildmaster Application tab in the Marketing Admin section of your account. All edits must be completed in conjunction with the application deadline of January 15, 2013.
What does “surveying all customers” mean?
In considering eligibility for an award, GuildQuality reviews survey feedback received from all customers who have bought a home or had work completed in the current calendar year. We consider a calendar year to begin on January 1 and end on December 31.
Applicants who do not survey all of their customers are required to disclose those omissions in their award application (in example”We do not survey projects under $1,000″or “We do not survey our commercial contracts”). A Guildmember may exclude a specific customer from surveying and retain their Guildmaster eligibility provided the candidate supplies GuildQuality with the omitted customer’s project information. In these cases, GuildQuality records a “Would Not Recommend” rating on behalf of the omitted customer.
What response rate would qualify me for an award?
Under no circumstances are Guildmembers with fewer than 20 survey responses eligible for a 2013 Guildmaster Award.
If your company typically has a smaller number of customers each year, GuildQuality includes older responses in the review as well, so that the feedback from the most recent 20 customers who responded to a survey is considered.
Candidates with fewer than 20 survey responses in the calendar year must have a minimum survey response rate of 70%. The minimum response rate decreases as a candidate’s survey feedback increases according to the schedule shown on our qualifications page. Candidates with 100 or more survey responses in the year must have a minimum survey response rate of 50%.
How do I qualify for the varying levels of Guildmaster distinctions?
Reviewing the Survey Response Rate Required to Receive a Guildmaster Award chart is the best way to determine which distinction your company would be eligible for.
How can I promote my win?
Members will be notified immediately upon qualifying, and all winners will be announced on or about May 1. GuildQuality will issue a press release congratulating the winners, share via Facebook and Twitter along with posting to our blog. Each winner will also be encouraged to leverage their win with a unique GuildQuality badge for use on the web as well as on any print material. The badge will be made available to each winner within the Logos tab of their Marketing Admin section.
We look forward to receiving your entry, and remember the deadline to submit your application is January 15, 2013. Best of luck!
