For the most value as far as peformance for the price - Leaf Relief from PlyGem. If you were looking to spend a little more to go with a helmet style guard instead of a cover I highly reccomend TruGuard. Hope this helps!

Ask for current copies of all their sales and contractors licenses as well as current copies of their general liability and workers comp insurance policies. Also, google them to see if they even "show up" and if they do read their reviews!

I would not purchase Leaf Filter system again.  In 3 years it has done a good job of keeping debris out of the gutters, but the black stripes that form on the front of the gutter between every 4' section of gutter guard are unacceptable!  The tech support rep for Leaf Filter said to just get up on a 2 story ladder and wash the stain off each year if it bothers me.  Totally defeats main objective of the system--keep me off of a ladder!!

I agree with all of the above comments. The best is to start with the roof or where a leak is coing in from. Get that taken care of and then work on the foundation.

Make sure you hire a licensed and insured roofing and foundation companies. Also ask about the warranties they offer.

  1.  Look at your contract and all the specifications of the project. See what is written about the installation.
  2.  Talk to the contractor. Question their choices.
  3. If not satisfied with the answers, write a review.

Thank you for these points. They are very useful for me as I will be hiring HVAC company near NJ for HVAC repair. I will make sure to ask these questions to them.

Greg,

What did the contractor say.  Why didn't she/he use them.  I would talk to the contractors before I file a complaint with the BBB.  Can you tell me more about the project?

Has anyone ever tried gutter guards from LeafFilter?  They seem like a pretty good design but just wondered if anyone had ever used them and what your experience was.  Thank you.

I think the solar panels can be fitted at the other places too like on the terrace. If you can have much space in front of your house, you can utilize it with the swimming pool in your yard Which will help to make your home look beautiful and also help to increase the value of that property. For those, who wish to have a swimming pool in their yard, can take help of this site to contact professionals and have glass pool fencing near your swimming pool.

Sometimes the weather can have more of an impact on your home than you know. Therefore, it is important to prepare your home for the winter season. For your central heat, call a heating system maintenance service NJ professional to come clean and inspect your furnace. Be sure to remove any flammable material away from any type of heater. Check your home for any cracks or crevices on the outside of your home and seal them properly. You will also need to check your pipes on the outside and inside.
