Was a very fast show for the estimate and had the fence done the following week.

I had a car drive through my fence, through the landscaping and hit the house. I called Rick’s (3 weeks before Xmas) and they were at my home two weeks later. I had them put in a gate along with fixing several foundation posts and fencing panels. They were finished in one day. Very professional, friendly customer related staff.

If price is your number one concern, Rick's fencing is a great choice. I did a lot of research ahead of time with five different bids and Ricks couldn't be beaten for my job. I understood that this comes with trade offs and didn't need something out of Home and Garden magazine in my backyard. I just needed the fence replaced in a reasonable amount of time, where I could trust the work would be done to be structurally sound and look good with no errors or issues.

I felt at ease and trusted each employee I worked with from the person giving the initial estimate, to the work crew and the scheduler and manager. I was very happy with their ability to rework the estimate and clearly distinguish parts of the job as I was working with 2 other neighbors to help share the cost. The crew was polite, communicated well, and checked in by phone for me while I was out at work to make sure I knew what their plans were for the following day. They also helped me navigate solutions for a challenging tree right on the property line, and did great work to make sure that it wasn't harmed.

I had a couple small issues. The job site could have been cleaned up a bit better, there is concrete residue left in medium puddles that probably should've been disposed of and I was not happy with the gate installation after a first review. The wood slats were all cut to different lengths leaving the top uneven. They also forgot a screw in the handle and installed a flawed piece of wood with 2 inch dent right next to the lock. These are all things that just looked like they might have been rushing to complete the job. However, I called the company a couple days later and someone was able to come out and fix the issues for me that day. As this represented a small portion of the overall job, I'm still happy with choosing Rick's.

If I were to recommend, I would recommend to have an agreed upon schedule, and expectations that the crews are not being pulled off the job to go to another job.

Rick's has helped me with several projects over the years and I continue to recommend them to family and friends.

The pre-fence discussion was excellent. Installation was rushed and they cut many corners. To their credit, they came back and fixed all of them. At the price for full installation, they should have been perfect the 1st time.

Their vinyl fencing turned out beautifully!

Wish we had gone with another company. Quality, communication and service too low. Be careful with their quotes. Several costly items were missed so their quote looks lower, but you may end up paying much more in the end.

Yes. The products are expensive but the quality of the final product is good.

Would recommend for patio cover but not fencing

The crew that installed our fence was less than professional, lack pride in their work, we were told the job would take 3 days, ended up taking 7. They couldn't get a fence post straight if their life depended on it, had to set some posts 5 different times to get it right. Could have gotten a better price & workmanship elsewhere

We have used Ricks fencing for 3 homes and Ben Fitzgerald has always been very knowledgeable and open to our needs in the design and execution of the fencing and decking and our pergola

Generally responsive but my concern is that the original metal fencing was inadequate to the needs of a truly secure fence. The aluminum fencing was totally inadequate. We had to pull the entire fence out and replace it at almost 3 times the original cost.

10x16 deck and cover totally done in 3 days. I had removed old deck and cover.
