Some folks were GREAT; some were OK, Amber was not.
Construction projects are rarely flawless. What sets Precision apart from the crowd is their response to the minor issue that surfaced, their willingness to listen and care, and their obvious dedication to continuous improvement. Way to go Precision, happy to recommend you in the future!
They put in a counter top that did not cover the end of the counter next to the refrigerator then they put the refrigerator back in place before I could notice it. I did not discover the issue until I was installing my backsplash so it is too late to fix the issue without completely redoing my backsplash.
Tabitha was wonderful in setting up the appointments. She was both friendly and professional.
The gentlemen who came to measure and later install the countertops did an outstanding job.
Job not completed and no communication since installation date of March 26
There were obvious problems with the cuts. When pointed out I was told nothing could be done.
These guys are very professional and installed my counters quickly and efficiently.
The measurements were very precise and the fit really good.
Excellent communication and friendly, professional service.
I will give them another chance
The team was very responsive for ordering scheduling and installing. However, the seams, Aning, glue and color differences still need to be addressed. It’s been a couple weeks since this was reported.
Precision Countertops is top-notch in customer service. They are very precise and professional. Highly recommend them!
Very poor quality for seams, caulking, and shimming
This is the second time I have used Precision Countertops.
Don't like to recommend this type of thing.......... Even if I like something, someone else might not have a good experience.
Very professional from start to finish
We have strong reservations recommending Precision because communication from Home Depot salesperson & Precision personnel regarding project was poor, namely full of incomplete or omitted information vital to a project. In particular, we took issue with three things. 1. When your technician came to measure our kitchen setup, he advised us that our newly purchased sink's width was too large (by about an inch). Immediately he told us he couldn't proceed with the measurements, hence he packed up and left. Not once did he advise us that had we simply removed a portion of the cabinet side wall, sufficient clearance would have been achieved. When I informed the Home Depot salesperson of this, telling her I could knock out a section of the wall to achieve clearance, she replied, "of course, this is commonly done in such projects so go ahead". To Home Depot's credit, they absorbed the $200 re-measurement fee for your technician to return to complete his task. Suffice it to say, this fiasco ended up having us return the sink only to repurchase it again once we learned knocking out the wall work. This comedy of errors and delays could have been avoided if your technician was a bit more forthcoming and communicative. 2. The Home Depot salesperson gave us an original quote that implied a standard 5" backsplash was factored in to our bid. We learned later such was not the case which then led to confusion, further delay and of course, additional costs once backsplash material and labor were added. And, we specifically requested a bull-nose edge to minimize chipping. As an aside, we even decided to purchase your lifetime "chip mitigation" insurance. However, we expected this edge on ALL components only to learn the backsplash did not come with that, only a "square" one that had a less aggressive chamfer that would be more easily damaged. This gave us mismatched edges between the backsplash and the countertop. Had we known this was the case (again, no one informed us), we would have explicitly requested same on both and would have gladly paid for it. 3. Throughout this interminably long project wrought with endless delays and reschedules, we experienced poor communication with Precision's administrative personnel as well as our Home Depot salesperson. Both often did not return calls, texts or when they did, they were tardy. But this ineffective communication between the customer (us) and the service provider, namely Home Depot & Precision, reflects poorly on the dismal communication behind your partnership. Nether side is doing a good job of telling the customer the same, complete story. 4. On a positive note, we were pleased and impressed with your two installers who completed the job within 90 minutes of arrival and who arrived 10 minutes early. Kudos to them. They took the time to shore up an out-of-level portion of countertop, squaring it, so that we would have a more professional-looking kitchen. Of all the "players" in this drama, they were the best and most competent. All the rest as my feedback amply illustrates the considerable need for improvement of others involved in this convoluted workflow. It is for these three reasons we hesitate recommending your company to friends and family. I have taken considerable time to write this, providing you detailed feedback as to why we are reluctant to give Precision a 5-Star rating. Please extend the courtesy and acknowledge receipt and that you have indeed taken the time to read my response.
I have already recommended them to friends of mine.
Precision countertops are both precise and tops from start to finish.
The installation was miserable
Lots of water left under the sink and my good towels put there but weren’t adequate. They didn’t tell me! Shima needed to be removed under window sill and I was told to do it myself! I said no please send someone to do it. I was told there would be an additional cost for the trip out. Plumber wouldn’t do it he said as he’s a plumber! Finally they relented and said someone the next day at no additional charge.
From the Home Depot rep through the installation everything was exceptional
Very unprofessional crew, the countertops were great the installation not so much. Made a huge mess and made a couple of my cupboards loose, then tried to blame it on me.
First installer super unprofessional. Rude and then was told by my install coordinatior that he has a short fuse. My slab had a blemish that wasn’t noticed untill after install. They came back out couple weeks later and sent different installer . He was much better .
Counters look gorgeous and work on them was exceptional. Areas left clean and neat while here working on the counters, I am very impressed!
