Quality Of Workmanship - I had some concerns after the project had been completed and no one has gotten back with me. This surveyor is the first person I have spoken with. I spoke with Mr. Shoemaker on the last day he came out about these concerns however no one has really gotten back with me.

Installation Crew Cleanliness On

Installation Crew Cleanliness On - I saw some areas that they could improve upon based on previous work that I've had done in my home as far as dust and tracking and things like that. On one occasion I got out a blanket that I personally own to keep the stain level down on my carpet. The project began with the first installer who came out - he started the project on one of the bathrooms and in the middle of that project he quit the company and so a second installer came in and he communicated well and actually performed the work but there are certain things about the work that he did that I had some concerns about. Day by day as time went on I wasn't trying to get in his way or tell him how to do his job but when you're spending your money and seeing things being done you want to have some input. There were just some things that were done in my opinion that were messy or tacky.

This one didn't start in thirty days, there was an extended period of time where it was supposed to start beyond thirty days. That's an area they could improve upon, they kind of dropped the ball. The workmanship concerns so far as the cleanliness goes I had some concerns about.

Recognized Excellence - The second installer, I can't remember his name, worked diligently, but he was under some pressure. He was the only installer that was actually doing work for Bath Planet at that particular time and they were somewhat behind so that put pressure on them to get the work completed expeditiously. His workmanship for the most part was knowledgeable, but still after the job was completed there were some concerns.

Improvement Suggestion - One thing they can change is - when they go in and tear out a bathroom they can put up a plastic barrier petition at the door to bathroom, because when you tear out a bathroom it's pretty extensive work as far as dust and when you don't put that partition up that dust filters all over the homeowner's home which is one of the things that happened to me. We had to do some extensive dusting and cleaning after they did the tear-out. Also during the tear-out the insulation usually filters down to the walls - around the back of the existing tub. When they did the tear-out they took out all of that insulation in the back of the bathroom. That takes away that heat insulation barrier and when they actually did the job they did not replace that insulation, so I'm somewhat concerned about that for the winter months.

My experience with Bath Planet Arkansas was exceptional from the beginning with the first time I called them. The sales person that came to show me all of the accessories and my actual installer were both professional and new what they were doing. Everyone was efficient and wasted no time. The helpers on board also did an excellent job. I'm totally satisfied with the product and end result.

Although we had some problems initially when the bathtub did arrive the installer, Eric, was able to solve any problems we did have. We had some mold and mildew beyond the wall and they sealed it up to take care of it and made sure there wasn't anything active - they took care of any problems that arose in the installation of the tub. I'm very happy with the service that they provided.
