You have a good quality as well as a great customer service
I like everything about my house. In addition, AW was very responsive when answering my warranty requests.
Craftsmanship of work is sloppy and work looks rushed. Attention to detail is non existent and justification from workers is “that is kind off normal” or “looks good to me” I did not pay to NOT see imperfections
Overall, I would recommend AWH. Much like anything else, there are a few things they need to work on, especially when it comes to customer service in sales and design. That may be true of most large home builders. Our construction manager was the one who made the real difference in our home buying experience with AWH.
We have had so many issues with our home, they are electrical. They can't seem to figure out the problems. I don't know if I would be willing to tell my friends to purchase an Ashton Woods Home with the problems we encountered.
I have purchased five new construction homes in my lifetime. Ashton Woods has been the best experience that I have had.
Quality of work was very poor
It has been a phenomenal experience, from the sales to the construction to the warranty. All of the Ashton Woods employees have been caring and have guided us through the process, making it exceptional.
The property we purchased was an investment for us to rent out and we’ve had zero quality issues that we’ve needed to address.
Our experience with Ashton Woods was great, would definitely recommend to others. Very happy to be living in our dream home.
We are very pleased with the construction and all the little details The environment of the whole neighborhood that Ashton Woods Homes has designed is good. We really appreciate all the effort Ashton Woods Homes has put into this neighborhood to make it a really good place to live.
The customer service was superior, and the employees actually cared about you becoming a part of their Ashton Woods family.
Overall very good with warranty work. But their sales team told us we could plant fruit trees in our backyard and the HOA is not letting us do that. The builder is not responding to our call for assistance. Planting trees is the reason we ended up buying the home with Ashton Woods so this is a big deal for us.
Denied exterior color scheme choice after contract was signed and deposit was made, now we must pay to revise exterior trim color to original color scheme selection. Otherwise likely to recommend.
I would recommend Ashton Woods Homes (Orlando) to a friend. However, I would caution them to pay attention to detail.
Absolutely would recommend an Ashton Woods home, we've built 2 other homes prior with other builders and this was by far our best experience.
Kim and Kyle were absolutely amazing.
People, DO NOT write see below or see #*** below. Because they won't post it! Check out my review a year ago under "Ernesto." They only posted "See below." With that said, we have had a terrible experience with Ashton Woods Deltona, Florida. There's no transparency before signing the dotted line. They elected profit/quantity over quality. The plan they submitted to the city for the HVAC unit, isn't what we got. We are missing an A/C vent in the kitchen area because they apparently covered the vent with drywall. A few of us, have complained about our HVAC unit, either not cooling or heating properly. We were given a 2 1/2 ton HVAC unit for a 2,200 sqft living area. They failed to glue the backsplash in the bathroom. They painted all bathrooms with flat paint which isn't suitable for wet areas. Missing grout in the showers. Gaps in exterior doors and missing weather stripping. Issues with garage doors. Indentation in vinyl planks. Missing gutters. Holes in the walls. Mystery electrical outlets. Floodlights junction box not properly secure and exterior doors not closing/opening properly to list a few. These issues is substantiated by a qualified building inspector. In my previous review, I mentioned that they installed an external service door approximately one foot, towards the front end of the house, when they knew or should have known that the HOA guidelines only allows fence to be placed ten feet behind the front edge of the house. If they make it right, I might come back a change my review.
This is our third AW home and might be the best one to date! Seamless process from start to close.
Everyone we have worked at with Ashton Woods has been great so far. Kim was our salesperson and she was amazing. She was very friendly and kept us and our agent informed throughout the process. She was so patient with us and answered all our questions. Mike and Brian were our project managers and they were great. They made us feel valued and always answers our questions. They never made us feel stupid for asking or following up and explained the entire process to us. Brian took care of everything we had concerns about during the inspection and closing. Jared has been great with some minor warranty work that we needed. He has followed up for us and even came out to come say hi and explain the process and double check things. The team has been great and we're happy we went with Ashton Woods as the builder.
Anyone looking to buy should do their due diligence. Know that pushbacks happen with or without notice. Flexibility may not be there. The home's price should include fixtures in the bathroom. This isn't my first home. Ashton Woods Homes will not provide you with sample paint; they will refer you to Sherwin Williams and give you a coupon.
Our saleswoman, Mary Ann Perez, was amazing throughout the process.
Matt Hazel our builder was awesome!
I would recommend Ashton Woods under the following conditions. 1. A more approachable and transparent Project Manager. Improve their quality assurance by 100%. 3. Their unreasonableness about changes to the contract that is not infrastructure related. For example, changes in external paint color even though the paint had not yet been ordered. 4. Having all the houses on the same street with the exact same colors.
This is our second time going through a new construction home. The quality of the Ashton Woods homes is far superior and the attention to detail throughout the process was always noticeable.
