Phillip W. Smith General Contractor, Inc. strives to provide our homeowners with a positive experience while building their home. Working as a team, it is our job to exhibit integrity and fairness to all persons involved.

Phillip Smith, with his wife Cathy, started with a small construction business in the Charleston South Carolina area. Over the past fifteen years, the company has grown to nine full-time employees: a project manager, three superintendents, an office manager, an estimator, and a selections coordinator.

Phillip Smith is a licensed General Contractor in South Carolina and has completed projects in Florida, Georgia, and South Carolina. He also has extensive experience with waterfront properties and as a waterfront builder.

Philip Smith builds about six to ten custom homes per year, which allows the company to maintain personal service and direct involvement with each client. Phillip likes to get involved in the design phase as early as possible, lending his knowledge and experience, as needed, to create a home that the client will be proud of.
