Our company was founded in 1980. From the beginning we have focused on the client experience and quality craftsmanship. The purpose of R. Craig Lord Construction company is to build a relationship of trust that is achieved by an honest dialogue with the client, meeting commitments and managing expectations through communication. We are a design-build firm. We couple our designs to our client's budget to give them the best value for the money they are spending. We specialize in all types of projects from bathrooms to whole house remodeling to building one to two story additions. our contract gives a fixed price for the project and a start and finish date.
Attention to detail is the defining task for how we organize our team. Designs and selections are guided by our architectural staff and our interior designer. Once the project goes into production our award winning field staff takes over. The field is organized around the Lead Carpenter system where each of our projects has its own lead carpenter. The lead carpenter is present from start to finish. He not only does the carpentry work, but is also responsible for the scheduling and supervision of our subcontractors. Our lead carpenters are supported by our production manager and our office staff. They make sure the lead has everything necessary to complete the project. There is immense satisfaction for us when we see our clients enjoy what we have created for them.
Our clients actually become friends of the company. We want them to be clients for life. They know that we will go out of our way to service their needs before, during and after the job. After the project is finished we stay in touch with the client keeping them informed fo any maintenance issues and responding quickly to any service calls. Our clients stay informed about the company and any new industry trends through our quarterly "Shavings" newsletter. Most recently we have added a blog to our website where you can follow a current kitchen remodeling project from start to finish.
