Alana drew the plans up and presented exactly what we had requested. Separately, she made a couple of suggestions and included a brief presentation that enhanced the functionality of our kitchen. These were needs we did not specifically put into words we wanted. However, from our conversations, she extracted areas in our existing kitchen design that did not quite meet accessibility and convenience. We loved the enhancements she presented and incorporated them into our new design. We ABSOLUTELY love the ideas that made life easier while providing extra space. Our new kitchen is AMAZING and BEAUTIFUL!
Additional Comments: Alana was a joy to work with from beginning to end. The expectations and time frames were clear and accurate. Any concerns or questions were promptly addressed in a timely manner. Alana listens, understands and addresses areas in design that prove valuable to the client. We would work with her and Westside Remodeling again. We cannot wait to remodel our master bath!

Additional Comments: Our first experience with Westside Remodeling was when they did a partial remodel of our kitchen about ten years ago. We have had other contractors for other projects and no one performed or had the expertise that they did. They were all so pleasant and happy to accommodate us. When their day was done, they cleaned up so well, no nails , screws or pieces of anything on the floor, a concern since we have a pet and grandchildren roaming around! So, it was only fitting that we had them back to complete our kitchen remodel , which we should have done in the first place! It is beautiful. We have learned over the years , you get what you pay for. You may pay a little more but you get quality workmanship.

Westside Remodeling provided detailed plans and contracts so we were well prepared with what to expect, and they executed everything according to those plans. We have had one or two very minor adjustments needed since construction finished, and they have dealt with those very quickly.
Areas Of Satisfaction: So many stories about remodel projects we heard from friends were fraught with problems about scheduling, falling behind, and not getting the work completed properly. We didn't have any of those concerns or problems - we probably could have done this more cheaply, but we feel that Westside Remodeling were great value for money as they took care of everything.
Lead Source: We found them online. I would typically be wary of finding any kind of service this way (we prefer personal recommendation where possible), but their reviews from previous customers were so good that we decided to check them out - and I'm glad that we did!

We know that "little things happen" during remodeling, and there were a few minor things that needed to be corrected…but nothing that didn't work out just fine.
Areas Of Satisfaction: The design process was fun and creative. Westside's designer gave us four options for the kitchen. It was also a professional process: double-checking measurements for precision and being certain of best choices.The scheduling of the project was, as usual, professional. The Gantt chart always gave us a good indicator of next steps and completion timeframe.The materials and products that Westside use are of high quality and dependable. Not inexpensive, but worth it.The expertise and demeanor of our lead carpenter, Marty Farrell, gave us complete confidence that things would go well.
Lead Source: We attended Westlake Village's Home Show years ago, were impressed with Bob and his team, and asked him to give us some initial ideas. This has lead to a great relationship over a number of years.
Additional Comments: Westside Remodeling has a very good understanding of the stress and strain that arise from tearing up your home. The team is very sensitive to this and works hard to keep things cleaned up, to be clear about what will happen "tomorrow," and to be attentive to keeping disruption to a minimum.

Areas For Improvement: They didn't fall short of my expectations. They were right on schedule, and everything was finished when they said it would be. Nothing major went wrong. There were a few glitches regarding an incorrect product delivery, but they handled it wonderfully.

Vicki Korniski then came in and was really honest with us. She gave us a good design proposal that was within our budget constraints. The final product looks really elegant. I appreciated Vicki Korniski being so considerate of our needs. We weren't home for most of the installation, but we have a little girl with a live in nanny and the nanny said Marty Farrell and his installation team were nice, clean and very courteous. The installation team were considerate of our work schedule and my child's schedule. We also thought the workmanship was great and the final product is of high quality.
Lead Source: We did a google search and found Westside Remodeling who had good reviews. Westside Remodeling had pretty much 100% of satisfactory reviews.

They were wonderful from start to finish and now I have a beautiful new bathroom. I have worked with many contractors over the years and Westside was the best by a mile. They delivered on all their promises and plans, and did it with courtesy and respect. As a homeowner you can't ask for more than that!

Areas Of Satisfaction: The foreman, Jon Barrett, was conscientious to a fault. He responded quickly to any questions. He handled all the inspectors and workers with calm professionalism. He even tolerated my barking dog, lucy. Vicki Korniski provided a great plan which gave us a beautiful kitchen with tons of storage space.

Areas Of Satisfaction: The most satisfying area of our experience with Westside Remodeling was our day to day interactions with lead carpenter, Blake. He kept us involved & updated throughout the entire process. We appreciated his meticulous attention to detail, and quality of workmanship, which put us at ease with the remodeling process. Our designer, Vicki, was also very helpful with selection of finishes, and her suggestions were very fitting with our home, & lifestyle, resulting in two beautiful, updated bathrooms.

Likely To Recommend: I wouldn't recommend anyone else. With Westside Remodeling you can count on the integrity of the individual, the quality of the work, and you can use them with confidence. I know I can trust them to come through in the end with a quality job, and I think that's a very important thing in today's environment. My project manager, the installers, and their designer that I worked with are all just wonderful. There aren't enough good things to say about them, I wouldn't recommend anyone else!
Areas Of Satisfaction: Their ability to solve problems. My bathroom was not a straight forward job, they really had to work to find a solution.
Lead Source: They worked on my home on two other occasions several years ago to install some windows for me, then some years after that they did a kitchen remodel. I'm familiar with them, and this is the 3rd time I've used them.
