Early on in the project, we received a letter from our Home Owners Association <they are quite ridgid on their by-laws> regarding the port-o-john that was on the construction site because there was no facility in the basement (area of our house that was being remodeled.) Jeff was great to work with. On our first project we had just bought a 35 yr old home that need updating. By doing a walk through and giving Jeff a very rough scope of work he was able to put a quote together within a week. Our timeline was 90 days from the date of the walk through. The job came in on time and any changes to the scope and costs were agreed upon prior to execution. Subsequent to that Villa did two other jobs for us. One job consisted of reconfiguring our living room and dining room resulting in a full wall of glass; windows and doors. The other job consisted of adding a garage, mud room and bath and reconfiguring an existing office into a bedroom. We were very pleased with the quality of work that we received and Jeff is a delight to work with. He is responsive to your needs and questions and follows up on a timely basis, a real professional. When we worked with Jeff he had only 2-3 employees that performed most of the carpentry work. Therefore most other tasks were contracted out. This was not an issue with the renovation work, but can be an issue on smaller jobs in try to get subs in on a timely basis, especially if the task for the subs are small. - Mar 16, 2007 in Arnold, MD
