He clearly is highly skilled in project management and kept the schedule moving forward. He anticipated challenges and questions and worked with us to get resolution to eliminate potential barriers before they arose. Likewise all of the HOSP staff assigned to our job were knowledgeable, respectful and a joy to work with.
Communication: HOSP's system/technology for communication was easy to use and effective. In addition to the weekly updates, we had frequent interactions with our project manager to keep everyone on the same page.
Clean & Safe: We were thoroughly impressed with the organization and cleanliness of the site throughout the project. We were equally appreciative that all HOSP staff and sub-contractors wore face masks at all times
Areas Of Satisfaction: Every aspect of this project exceeded our expectations. However this is the first time (in many remodel projects) that the planning process was so thorough that there were no surprises during execution. Kudos to Rob Moody.
Recognized Excellence: Both Sean Read and Zach Boye went above and beyond in the execution of our project. We had absolute trust in them and enjoyed having them here.
Remodeling Concerns: Our biggest concern was regarding the availability of materials during the pandemic. This was mostly a non-issue.

The care for detail. The determination to 'get it right' and not being satisfied until it was done correctly. Communication was great. The timeliness of sub-contractors was greatly appreciated. Cleanliness of the job site was greatly appreciated as we lived in the house during the remodel. But mostly it was their desire to work with the customer to ensure the customer received the product desired and within budget. At no time when an issue was brought up was the response an answer/defense as to why it had to be that way - it was simply taken care of. The result is a very happy and satisfied customer.
Recognized Excellence: We worked primarily with Jake and couldn't have been happier. We are under the impression we would have been thrilled with whomever was lead carpenter on the job - but we were thrilled with Jake for all the reasons stated above.
Remodeling Concerns: Any concerns we had were quickly dispelled in the initial onsite meeting at the house. We appreciated the candor of many responses - some might not - but a level of trust had already been established so if an idea came up and the response was something to the effect 'you don't want to do that' - we were also told why and we appreciated the candor. Several options were also discussed at that initial onsite meeting that were incorporated into the project for which we are most grateful.
Lead Source: Through a friend who had worked with HSP on a remodel and whose judgement I trusted greatly. Based on this recommendation we consulted with no other contractors.
Additional Comments: We just wish we had more money to do more projects. Yes it was tough living through weeks of construction, but the end result exceeded our expectations.
