For a non-custom builder, Saussy gives a more custom builder experience; they seem to attempt to improve the quality of the finishes and uniqueness of the homes they build. The subs and materials used in the home were of better quality than the homes I've seen from other competing builders.
Our home is beautiful! Saussy Burbank makes a quality home that I am proud to live in. The process was almost flawless and I would recommend them over other builders in the area.
This was the second home we had built by Saussy Burbank. Our first home was in Beverly Crest. We were very pleased with the whole experience of building our home this time in Baxter. It was a pleasure to work again with Ken Matthews. He went our of his way to make sure we were updated on the progress of the house while it was being built due to the fact that we were living in Ohio during construction.
I have built eight houses in my lifetime and this was by far the most pleasant, most organized and most positive experience I have ever had.
While we love the design of our home, I would recommend an independent home inspection to examine your home before purchasing. Many corners appear to be cut in our home and we wish we had addressed them before purchasing.

Saussy Burbank is a professional company who builds nice products at very reasonable prices. They employ people with exceptional customer service skills. They know who the neighbors are and are able to keep in touch with people after making the sale. They also have a sense of the neighborhood and its surrounding areas.
Overall we love our house and couldn't be happier with the quality. We had some challenges with miscommunications amongst the team but it was all worth it in the end.
Overall, I think Saussy Burbank is an average to below average builder in terms of customer service, administration and leadership. Luckily, they have a phenomenal general contractor named Rob Rodriguez who can build trust, deliver what he promises, and truly treats the home as if it were his own. We only chose Saussy because they owned the lot. David Weekly and others were far more organized and professional, but they did not own the lot that we wanted.
The people who we worked were exceptional. It's been an amazing experience. Every step of the way has been incredibly awesome. We are so satisfied with our house and property. We just love it.

My husband and I purchased our home and had a closing date in early December. Saussy Burbank did everything we needed to get moved in before Christmas. It was nice to spend the holidays in our new home. Also, we had some concerns about the shingles on our home. We hired our own inspector who outlined the concerns. Saussy Burbank was very reassuring about the situation and immediately addressed the problem. Ellen Shore took our concerns seriously and made sure we were satisfied with the results provided.

Saussy Burbank has been courteous and professional with me from the beginning. Each time I contacted the sales associate (Thomasena Washington) or onsite contractor (Jason Burger) they responded and offered advice in a timely manner. Although some of the features I had wanted were unavailable I was always offered a reasonable alternative. I am moving into this house from a much more expensive custom house at several times the price and I was quite concerned in the beginning that I would be dissatified with the quality and workmanship but now I must say that in many areas the workmanship in this house either meets or exceeds that of my previous custom house. From my perspective this house seems to be a good value for the money spent.
Building a home with Saussy Burbank has been a great experience. Thomasena Washington welcomed us to the community and worked with throughout the building process. She would call us and even send us pictures on how the house was progressing. She was concerned that we were located almost 700 miles from the construction and wanted us to be involved. Dottie Kirkland helped us in the Design Center. She is a wonderful person and a workaholic. We would hear from her late in the evening to answer any questions that we might have. Thanks to these two individuals we were able to build our forever house. The Warranty Department has been great. They have been there for us to rectify any concerns that come up. This has been a very memorable experience. Thank you Saussy Burbank for being our Builder of Choice.

Homebuilders, remodelers, real estate developers and home services companies pay GuildQuality for customer surveying and performance reporting. We refer to these companies as GuildQuality Members, Guildmembers, or members.
Our service helps Guildmembers monitor customer satisfaction and -- if they choose to publish survey feedback on our public website at guildquality.com -- articulate the quality of their service for prospective customers.
All of the Guildmember information we publish at guildquality.com has been provided to us either by the member (such as pictures of work and biographical information) or by their customers via one of our surveys (customer comments, performance summaries, and reviews).
All of the customer feedback that we publish is derived from the customers we survey. Our Guildmembers provide us with their customers' contact information, we conduct the surveys, they receive the feedback, and -- if they have chosen to make their feedback public -- the member's performance report is automatically updated to reflect the response. Members may choose to publish a summary of either all of their feedback or their most recent twelve months of feedback.
In addition to average performance ratings and survey statistics, GuildQuality also publishes two types of customer commentary: Comments and Reviews.
A comment has been provided by a survey respondent in response to any one of the survey questions we ask, and a member may or may not choose to publish it. Often customers provide unsolicited testimonials or compliments, and members can choose to share these comments in their published performance report.
Many Guildmembers choose to participate in our formal review process. These members have added an additional question on their survey: "If you'd like to provide a public review of your experience working with the Guildmember, please share it here." In contrast to comments, which a member selects to have published, we publish all reviews, provided they are at least 30 words long. With each review, we include a one to five star rating provided by the survey respondent.
