We didn't have to live in the Charlotte area very long to hear about the great reputation of Saussy Burbank as a quality home builder. After renting a Saussy home for short while and meeting others who owned Saussy homes (or wished they did) we were sold. From the beginning of the process we knew we would be getting a great home. With that said, as first time home buyers it was Saussy's focus on excellent customer service that has us most satisfied with our experience. Ellen was always friendly, courteous, and professional. She was easy to talk to, explained things thoroughly, and made us feel comfortable with the process and with asking questions. We always looked forward to our meetings with her as well as the status updates on our home. She is the perfect person for her job and our experience with her is what will bring us back to Saussy in the future.

This is our second Saussy Burbank home! This is also the second time my wife and I have worked with both Barbara and Dottie. Thus far, the overall process has been smooth and extremely rewarding. But given our first great experience five years ago, we expected nothing less, and they still managed to exceed our expectations!

We have built both custom and tract homes. During those builds, timing, communication, pricing was always an issue. There was also inconsistency between staff. Our experience with Saussy Bank was smooth, on time, and within our budget. The support we were given through the initial sales and selection process was excellent with value insight and ideas.

Saussy Burbank has been good to work with. They build a very good looking house. The only complaint we would have is that they cut some corners...those being no lights in the bedrooms, wood porches instead of concrete or brick, an wired shelves in the closets and pantry.
I do feel like Saussy Burbank has a good methodology that takes the home builder through the process of building a new home cleanly from start to finish. I thought they tried very hard to make me a happy customer and were overall successful due to their quality of workmanship and quality of people on the job.
I love Saussy Burbank products. It was a god send that we got this house. When I broke my leg, we were lucky to have the place the live, its one floor all hardwood. Everyone wants the house I have from Saussy, because they aren't building in our neighborhood anymore.

We love the thoughtfulness put into the design of our home, and that you are putting old-fashioned style into a new home. Michele Upchurch is really fantastic. She is knowledgable, very helpful, very nice and easy to talk to, and not at all like a typical real estate agent (which is a very good thing). Michele is easy going, with a good sense of humor, and seems to really enjoy her job. She knew the homes well, and could answer any question we had. I can't say enough good things about her. I would recommend working with her, to everyone.
Ken Matthews was very supportive and worked hard to make our sale happen. He also takes pride in the work done by Saussy Burbank and wanted to make certain that all our needs were met. I could not have asked for a nicer experience.
Overall the entire process was very satisfying. From working with the salesperson, Susan, to closing. There is not one particular area that was better than others. Overall, I was the most satisfied working with Saussy Burbank than I have ever been buying a home.
