Understand Building Process: Both Jason Baylor and Nick Kittle have been providing me with information every step of the way (planning to building). They have both invested their time and effort to ensure that I understand all parts of the process and that all of my questions are answered. They provide frequent updates and am been available at all times.
Additional Comments: I would highly recommend Payne & Payne to others, and have been singing their praises to everyone who assumes a custom home build is a frustrating, horrible process. I cannot say enough about the team I have been working with. I was also very fortunate to work with Annie Payne for my home design - she was amazing and a great listener! I was anxious about a "design" meeting but she made it fun and made me feel confidant about my decisions!
Trust: As a single mom who travels for work, trust was a big factor in my home building process. Jason, Nick and Bob spent so much time and energy working with me over the course of the project, I developed complete trust in their work. I knew if I had a question or needed information someone would reach out to me. I felt completely comfortable with them. Highly recommend to others
Additional Comments: I am extremely happy with my Payne & Payne experience. During my building process, whenever I told someone who my builder were they all replied "Payne & Payne are excellent"...that continued validation was awesome to hear. Best Practices: All of our choices worked out very well. It is difficult to single out any because the builder did such a great job from the beginning of the process until the end. We were very happy with changes that were made to the original plans to accommodate furniture and other changes that we requested after building had begun.
Trade Partners: All of the trade partners were very good. Payne & Payne has made great choices of people to work with. It shows up in the finished product.

Both individuals were fantastic to work with. Justen's weekly updates were worthy of publication. Not only were they thorough, they were entertaining to read. We miss those Friday e-mails.
Recognized Excellence: Everyone we worked with including sub-contractors were great people that strive to provide an exceptional product. My wife and I continue to keep in touch with various P&P employees on a regular basis and we consider them friends. They are some of the nicest, most genuine people we know. I can't say that about any other builder we have built with in the past. I would like to leave a positive note about every person we worked with at P&P but due to time and space constraints I'll mention the ones we dealt with the most. Mark Verdova, Justen Musick, and Don Phillips went above and beyond to make our dream home a reality. Thanks to their exceptional effort and patience we have a home that is exactly what we envisioned.
Any Changes?: We enjoyed the process so much we wish we could build another home with P&P.
