I know something about carpentry--my grandfather was a carpenter, and I sometimes volunteer now that I'm retired. Nassau Suffolk Lumber was professional in every respect. I recommend them as a company with real knowledge about carpentry.

I had driven through my garage door with my car and went to call Active (company I had used prior and the phone was connected to Nassau). They were unbelievable; they got someone here immediately to at least put the door back so it could be closed. They were just amazing!

The installers were great. Bob Volk was great. He always gave me price-conscious options, and I really appreciated that. He had no problem going back to the drawing board. I talked to him about a door---the first price was too high, and he was the one who volunteered other options. There was no compromise in quality.
