He was respectful, trustworthy, gave sound advice and was just a joy to have around.
Areas For Improvement: I should have paid more attention to where the light switches were going in the master bath, and what lights those switches controlled. We had to make a last minute change once the electricians showed up and it meant tearing up some finished drywall to run another line for a switch, but the change is acceptable.
Areas Of Satisfaction: Everything was completed to my expectations. The painting and tile work are beautiful and the attention to detail is outstanding.
Additional Comments: Working with NVS was a breeze. I appreciated their professional approach from sales, to contract and to project completion. Everything went according to plan and estimate.

Lead Carpenter: Dave Harris was wonderful to work with. He explained what was happening at every stage of the project and was happy to answer questions.
Recognized Excellence: Dave Harris was the lead carpenter and he keep us on schedule and made any adjustments that needed to be made to coordinate the various trades. The painters were great. They worked on a Saturday so the project could remain on schedule.

Lead Carpenter: Dave Harris was on the job every day, kept us up to date on what was being done and what the plan was for the next day. At the end of every day he would sweep from the job site (the master bath) all the way to the front door, leaving the entire area clean.
Clean & Safe: On the first day the floors from the front door all the way to the master bath were covered with a protective cover. A HEPA filter was used anytime dust was created, the bathroom door was sealed with tape to prevent drywall dust from escaping.

Dawn Summers also has a keen sense of design and helped the homeowners tremendously. The project would not have turned out so well without her input and guidance especially in the cabinetry, floor tile, lighting fixtures and hardware areas.
Additional Comments: We were extremely pleased with NVS Remodeling and Design. The entire firm is very professional and know their craft. They stressed communications and they live it everyday. Additional Comments: We had interviewed 4 other companies, prior to meeting with Dave Paccassi at the Home Show. We were able to look at the before and after book of other projects that tNVS had done it the past. There was no pressure, just conversation. We were asked to schedule Dave to come out and look at our bathroom and we did. There price was a few thousand more than the other quotes we received but I had a better "feel". This was our 2nd bathroom remodel. (Our first remodel there were a lot of errors). Dave and Kris Forness worked closely with us and guided us through the selection process. Rafael Cartegena, the lead carpenter was just amazing and he worked so hard. He treated our house like his own. Gary Cooper and his partner, Brian did a terrific job with the tile work. All the guys worked their butts off. There was a slight delay in getting the glass shower doors and the project went a little longer than 1st thought....but they and we made the best of it. We were kept in the loop and any concerns were brought immediately to our attention. When we had a few concerns, they were addressed promptly.

Richard nearly became a part of our family. Everyone was professional and came across as truly wanting to be as helpful as possible to us. More than once we asked for personal opinions on certain areas of work we were having done and were given excellent and extremely helpful suggestions which resulted in a better result. We heard about all the horror stories of kitchen remodeling and all the delays that occur, but we had a great remodeling experience - even our neighbors were impressed with the timeline for completion. We were also very impressed and appreciative of the way things were handled with the ordering mishap of decorative wall tiles.
Additional Comments: An incredible company to work with from start to finish. My husband and I chose everything from cabinets, flooring, hardware, tiles, etc. and can proudly say we did the "design." BUT we could never have done it without the expert NVS staff who walked us through (and held our hands when we got nervous) every step of the way. The end result is an incredibly beautiful and functional kitchen with more cabinet space than we could have imagined. Thank you all so much!

He was very thorough and took care in every step of the process up to the finish, even beyond. He seemed personally invested in the success and quality of the work. We can't say enough positive things about working with him. We have two large dogs that can be a bit overwhelming. He was great with them even letting them out in the middle of the day to play in the yard. I think they missed him once the project was over. It was very comforting for us to know that they were not in the way and we could leave the house in good hands.

The end product matched the design perfectly and we were very pleased with the workmanship and quality. The craftsman and design staff were not only professional, they were artists. At times we felt a little overwhelmed with the flurry of activity, but the staff at NVS kept the ship upright and on course. The scheduling and coordination was impressive.
