Again, Todd Strot and his team fixed issues prior company had missed having to do with structural support of house. He also came out when project was finished and discovered an issue (nail pounded into radiator pipe) and had prior company not fixed, or if they had denied, he stated he would speak with them and explain situation.

Todd Strot handled all cost issues with insurance company, pointing out problems that original "estimator from American Family" had missed. He also found and fixed issue (a beam in kitchen) that prior construction company had missed. He allowed me to do painting so as to keep cost down. He explained costs very carefully when I asked for something not in original bid.

See above comments and Manager or whatever his title is, Todd Strot is absolutely great to work with, wonderful personality, takes time to explain what has to be done and why it has to be done. Is never pushy. Very professional and courteous and respectful and dormer is absolutely perfect, neighbors have commented that it fits house and should have been built in design Murphy bros came up with in the first place. Blends perfectly.

Shawn, for his excellent work. Also appreciated Gail, the designer, whose guided me through the tile, floor, and other selections. Aaron the project coordinator was thorough, responded in a timely manner to my questions/concerns.

The carpenter, Shawn, was very detail oriented, precise, thorough, flexible, approachable, and polite. He did excellent work! All of the subcontractors were professional and good at what they did. The paint/stain department did an excellent job of matching up existing woodwork.

As mentioned earlier, Cheri, Aaron and the individuals who did the tile cabinetry work did a great job. We were very impressed and would recommend them to anyone.

We thought the tile work was outstanding and also felt that the design work was great and done very efficiently. The cabinetry work was also very very nice, better than we every anticipated. Cheri and Aaron were great through the complete process, excellent communication and always very timely with responses to questions and concerns.

Todd and Gail gave us so many ideas. We really appreciated them, but Shawn was the most amazing craftsperson. We felt like he became a trusted friend. He is smart, talented, and resourceful. We missed him when the work was done.

Their ability to problem-solve and to give us ideas about possibilities made the whole project fun and successful. All of the workers sent to our house were respectful and genuinely pleasant to have in our home. The quality of the work was uniformly superior. The work took longer than we had originally expected, but any problems with that were alleviated by their constant communication with us.

we held up the punchlist process due to holidays. Prompt response on items. Gail did a nice job going through all the warranty items

Rick Fox is to be commended. Every time we called, Rick was always there or would promptly return the calls. Especially true during a surprise water leak after plumber left. Rick showed up on door step immediately. He goes above and beyond in his work. A pleasure to work with him.

although we would all like to pay less,there was one instance where we had some hidden work but the lead carpenter identified during inspection. Murphy did not charge us for the additional work. This has been true on another project as well. Thanks for the ease in these decisions.

Rick Fox. Enough said.Gail Jacobson. Some added color suggestions near the end really added to our overall appearance. Well done. Gail is not afraid to offer opinions. Perhaps a little strong on her opinions at times, but I would rather hear them vs nothing at all. Previous project experience very evident as we tied all the plans together. That was very helpful in making the decisions easier.Sean- fantastic patience with other carpenter while trying to get his work done. Very skilled individual and a pleasure to be around. Would also bring Sean in anytime.

Rick Fox. We've had him on two projects. Always professional. Enjoyable to be around. Extremely knowledgeable. Several times came over to the house, especially when a water leak issue arose. Sean also did excellent work on the days Rick was not here. I believe on several days another carpenter was here with Sean learning some things. Sean was very patient with him. The process was slowed due to Sean supervising him as well as doing his own work. I was not comfortable with the expertise of this 3rd individual and would not be at ease with him on a job in my home working alone.

My mind is already thinking about the next project--either a kitchen or basement re-do. We will be calling Murphy Bros when we are ready to start.
