We've been very pleased with the whole process and especially working with Jonathan and Rick. Dealing day to day with Rick has been such a pleasure and he is fun to work with, so energetic and we felt that our best interests were always topmost with both Rick and Jonathan. It is very apparent that Rick enjoys his job (and that's a good thing because we sure couldn't have done it) and his attention to detail and commitment to us is key. He was always positive, problem solving, forward moving and kind and more than anyone, he left a big mark on our house that none of us will every forget. Luke was great. He was almost always available when I called. When he wasn't, he called me back promptly. We had regular meetings at the house to go over issues and he (and others) always had great suggestions, which made the process much more understandable to me. We've had a very positive experience with the folks at Mills. Carol has been very proactive and helpful throughout the process. The entire process has been efficient and professional. Likewise, the crew has been great. Although I don't know much about construction, it is clear to me that they are doing quality work. Equally important to me, they have been very easy to work with. I routinely have questions and both Steve and Lucio (and Luke and Rick) have taken the time to explain things to me. Same with the electrical subcontractors (Jim and Mike?). Again, they have taken the time to work through issues with me to make our project even better. Finally, I have been very impressed with Luke and Rick. It is clear that Rick knows his trade and is doing a great job keeping things on track. He was great about making sure we were completely on board with the plan and was very accomodating re: changes to the plan as per our request.All subs were very cooperative about working alongside the additional subcontractors we had contracted separately -- this made life much easier for everyone involved.
