Review: I got many prices for the job, and John's price was very good and competitive. He worked with me in a timely manner, set up an appointment, and went over everything. They were there every day and were pretty impressive to this day and age. The final result was beautiful and I love the way my house looks. John was very patient and excellent. Many of the neighbors have been coming up to me and asking who did the house. It is a huge improvement to the neighborhood.

In areas where there were questions, they were proactive, communicated well, were willing to do the better quality / better looking fix instead of the cheapest/fastest way out of each jam. The end result is a home that looks 50x better than when they started. And it looks and feels solid. I am VERY pleased with the improvement to the property and would work with them again.
Review: I purchased a rental that needed severe TLC and brought MasterCraft in to give it an external facelift and to improve its energy efficiency. The materials were top notch and looked great. They installed with real craftsmanship and took the inevitable hiccups in construction in stride. Great communicators (every day!) and showed up on time, stayed all day, worked hard. The result was a really high quality job that looks tremendous. I would recommend them without hesitation.

He was detailed in his proposal, explained the project well and was responsive with answers to questions that arose.
Construction Quality: If there were questions regarding the workmanship, they were addressed quickly and to my satisfaction. In one situation, Mr. O'Brien approached the James Hardie organization to get their opinion on how an existing porch railing could be attached to new siding. The issue was handled very efficiently.
Communication: In my opinion, from bid to completion, responsiveness was extreemly good. It was one of the reasons I chose Mastercraft over a competitor.
Recognized Excellence: As mentioned before, I feel that John O'Brien went out of his way to help me understand the product and process. He was consistenly responsive and helpful. I enjoyed working with him.
Review: MasterCraft and John O'Brien, in particular, were wonderful to work with. The product and project were well explained. The project was completed in a timely fashion and was billed in an amount that did not exceed the estimate. They were consistently responsive to questions and concerns.
