I feel like we got a really nice and beautiful home for the price. Everyone was so easy to work with. When there was a problem, they were great. Laurel worked great with us. Overall, the experience was good. I would definitely buy from them again. I love that they are still working with us a year later.
They seemed eager to please, but didn't perform to my expectations. They used lower quality products than expected. There was no quality control. I feel like I was quality control.
As we approach the end of our first year of ownership, I think it is significant that our "punch list" for problems is non-existent. Everything is or works as expected.

We've been shopping about six months. We were strictly looking on location. Paces View is in Vinings, and we are natives of Atlanta. We moved from the Vinings area to Cumming, and we are going back to the Vinings area. We knew which area we wanted. I looked at the Battery, and it didn't come close to Paces View. We've built three homes; this is our first town home. Our kids are out of college, so we're doing what older empty-nesters do. John Wieland Homes has a great reputation. I've looked at his homes before, but until now they didn't have the right neighborhood for us. My experience so far is that it is an extremely well-run, professional organization, where most other builders are more chaotic and less organized. I'm pleased in that regard.
It wouldn't have been as great without Tina Wiggins and Jason Berger. They made us very comfortable with the transition from apartment renter to homeowner. They gave us great service, people who wanted to work with us, and the sense that with the John Wieland reputation we are happy with the quality of the home. If we had to do it again we would look for a John Weiland home.
As stated above this statement summarizes my overall experience....."JW Homes is a world class organization with world class people". Our experience and results were exceptional. I would highly recommend JW Homes to anyone interested in building a home.

We are very pleased with our new home in the McCullough subdivision. Like all homes in the neighborhood, we feel that our home is unique and of high quality construction, as well as a good value for the purchase price. The buying experience went very smoothly. Mitch and Gina from the sales office were helpful, and our project manager (Brad Crysler) did an excellent job in making sure all of our options/upgrades were completed by closing, and was very responsive to any questions we had after closing.
I am extremely dissatisfied with John Wieland. Our house has numerous problems which JW is unwilling to address. The quality is far below what is expected. We have Radon, a radioactive gas which causes cancer, in our home which JW is ignoring and the builder is making jokes about. We have been unhappy with JW Homes and would not purchase again from them. Additionally, customer service has been abysmal.

When I decided to get a John Wieland Home, everyone was excited to tell me what I could expect as far as quality and great customer service, and everything they told me is true. The building on the house was great- I loved the property, the features, upgrades in the actual neighborhood. The mortgage process itself was really painstakingly monotonous and way too complicated.
Ashley is wonderful. She has always made herself available to us. She gave us outstanding referrals for a handyman and cleaning lady. She also came by to meet me personally...she goes out of her way to make homeowners happy.

Homebuilders, remodelers, real estate developers and home services companies pay GuildQuality for customer surveying and performance reporting. We refer to these companies as GuildQuality Members, Guildmembers, or members.
Our service helps Guildmembers monitor customer satisfaction and -- if they choose to publish survey feedback on our public website at guildquality.com -- articulate the quality of their service for prospective customers.
All of the Guildmember information we publish at guildquality.com has been provided to us either by the member (such as pictures of work and biographical information) or by their customers via one of our surveys (customer comments, performance summaries, and reviews).
All of the customer feedback that we publish is derived from the customers we survey. Our Guildmembers provide us with their customers' contact information, we conduct the surveys, they receive the feedback, and -- if they have chosen to make their feedback public -- the member's performance report is automatically updated to reflect the response. Members may choose to publish a summary of either all of their feedback or their most recent twelve months of feedback.
In addition to average performance ratings and survey statistics, GuildQuality also publishes two types of customer commentary: Comments and Reviews.
A comment has been provided by a survey respondent in response to any one of the survey questions we ask, and a member may or may not choose to publish it. Often customers provide unsolicited testimonials or compliments, and members can choose to share these comments in their published performance report.
Many Guildmembers choose to participate in our formal review process. These members have added an additional question on their survey: "If you'd like to provide a public review of your experience working with the Guildmember, please share it here." In contrast to comments, which a member selects to have published, we publish all reviews, provided they are at least 30 words long. With each review, we include a one to five star rating provided by the survey respondent.
