We focus entirely on new construction of custom and semi-custom homes, averaging 20-25 homes built per year.

We have a great team! We boast of our staff's longevity with employment and increasing. In addition to myself, our team consists of a project manager, field supervisors, a construction coordinator, an accounting and closing coordinator, and an office administrator.

What should clients bring to the table and contribute during the construction process?  What can they do to help make the relationship a success?

We always recommend that clients use pictures as tools to illustrate their likes and dislikes. Customers can also help by maintaining close communications during the selection process.

How do you market your company?

Our customers are our best advertisements through word of mouth.

What are the biggest challenges facing companies like yours in the building industry?  What are some of the challenges facing your business right now?

Currently, the most significant challenge we face is price increases for supplies and materials that are beyond our control.

What's next for your company

We plan on expanding to other areas throughout the Charleston region.

It was a pleasure working with the staff. Each person was sensitive to our needs and requests. Ralph is "superman". He has such a gentle, effective manner and we didn't meet anyone who disliked him. He encouraged the subs without being threatening and he had great respect for everyone he worked with.He is highly competent and extremely effective. We are very grateful that we chose the J.D. We were not happy with the interior paint the day prior to closing. They actually had a crew come out the day of closing and re-paint the interior. We have been very pleased. They are very professional.

About GuildQuality and our Guildmembers

Homebuilders, remodelers, real estate developers and home services companies pay GuildQuality for customer surveying and performance reporting. We refer to these companies as GuildQuality Members, Guildmembers, or members.

Our service helps Guildmembers monitor customer satisfaction and -- if they choose to publish survey feedback on our public website at guildquality.com -- articulate the quality of their service for prospective customers.

All of the Guildmember information we publish at guildquality.com has been provided to us either by the member (such as pictures of work and biographical information) or by their customers via one of our surveys (customer comments, performance summaries, and reviews).

Surveys, Comments and Reviews

All of the customer feedback that we publish is derived from the customers we survey. Our Guildmembers provide us with their customers' contact information, we conduct the surveys, they receive the feedback, and -- if they have chosen to make their feedback public -- the member's performance report is automatically updated to reflect the response. Members may choose to publish a summary of either all of their feedback or their most recent twelve months of feedback.

In addition to average performance ratings and survey statistics, GuildQuality also publishes two types of customer commentary: Comments and Reviews.

A comment has been provided by a survey respondent in response to any one of the survey questions we ask, and a member may or may not choose to publish it. Often customers provide unsolicited testimonials or compliments, and members can choose to share these comments in their published performance report.

Many Guildmembers choose to participate in our formal review process. These members have added an additional question on their survey: "If you'd like to provide a public review of your experience working with the Guildmember, please share it here." In contrast to comments, which a member selects to have published, we publish all reviews, provided they are at least 30 words long. With each review, we include a one to five star rating provided by the survey respondent.
