Clean & Safe: This is the part that won me over the most. There was a lot of construction going on in our neighborhood and job sites had huge piles that could be cleared once every week or two, or less. These guys parked their own dumpster onsite and had cleanup as part of their work day each day. This meant a lot in how much we could use the property during the week, since WE CONTINUED LIVING THERE during the 7-week renovation.
Areas Of Satisfaction: Yes, the work is beautiful on the outside, but where they exceeded my expectations was in their engineering. The real goal was to address water incursion as the house was leaking a great deal. They removed the skin of the house, found and repaired or reinforced ALL the deterioration in the structure, replaced the sheathing, and upgraded the water shield, and only then began their meticulous beautifying with Hardie Plank for the world.
Current Referrals: We live on a corner and MANY people have stopped to ask. Some stop their cars just to look.
Additional Comments: Stucco was created for a desert climate. It dries stiff then cracks in our varieties of temperature, and will always leak in our wet climate. That moisture will slowly rot the hidden structure. We were gradually losing our home. Glad we reclaimed it.

Lead Source: Through the Hardie Plank website. They recommended only a few qualified Hardie Plank contractors in the area.
Areas For Improvement: The job took longer to complete than expected.
Areas Of Satisfaction: They were meticulous craftsmen, cleaned up the worksite at the end of each day and communicated appropriately.
Recognized Excellence: Vicky McCollim offered a lot of information and checked up on the progress often. Gilbert, the handyman, was very helpful and efficient.

Areas Of Satisfaction: Paul Martinez and all employees I dealt with at Home exterior were professional, courteous, and helpful.. was always kept informed of progress of job. Also, at the end of work day ..work area always clean and tidy.
Recognized Excellence: Paul Martinez and the office staff at home exterior. cannot remember the girl's name in the office who was the liasion between Paul and I , but she was great always kept me updated and was very helpful. (maybe Linda or Lisa ) sorry I cant remember

Communication has been excellent at all levels. I also appreciate the patience as we worked through getting the epayment worked out for the roofing job. Leslie and Vicky were very responsive when I called. Paul, has been on top of everything and has been great to work with. The foremen in the field were very easy to work with and I appreciated that they took the time to listen to my inputs and we worked together to find any underlying problems while do the siding that were roof related. This really was big deal to me and was one of the main reasons I chose to have you guys install my roof. I actually had another contractor lined up. I saw them do a roof on another house and noticed their inattention to detail and was concerned I would have to practically check on them every ten minutes to make sure nothing was overlooked. After seeing your siding crew work I was confident that the roofing crew would be just as diligent and attentive to detail and they were. Jesus and company were quick without compromising quality. Lastly the touch up done after the roofing job was done was greatly appreciated. Angel even took the time to clean up items that no one would have even seen.I have already recommended HES to my neighbor, David Glover, who is looking to have siding installed. Hopefully he gives you a call for his own benefit. Paul I have given him your name and number.I will be sure to let everyone know who worked on my house. The proposal was nothing short of the best I had ever seen, and the cost details were superb. The whole process start to finish was exactly as advertised by Bart. I could not be happier. Easy going, has the technical details, answered all my questions immediately. A great communicator and representative of Home Exterior Systems and James Hardie Products.
Project Manager Professionalism: Jorge Correa was total awesomeness along with his crew. Jorge kept me apprised of what the daily work plan was day to day, and managed the effort to the plan while working in and around rain showers to exceed my expectations. Extremely professional as with the rest of the crew. The few change orders I had were explained very well and priced fairly. Jorge and crew are welcome at my place anytime they are in my area.
Quality Of Workmanship, Materials, Crew: Again, I can not say enough about Jorge and the crew. I was asked multiple times daily when I was out and about watching the magic happen if I was satisfied and if things were going in-line with my expectations. I was ecstatic to see one of the crew ( the other Jorge - uncle Jorge) have his son on staff. Its a great thing to give a young man an opportunity to learn a craft while spending time with his family. The entire crew functioned in perfect unison, like the 'Seal Team Six' of siding and paint.
Value: I solicited 3 bids. Home exterior systems fell just under the high bid and somewhat above the low bidder. The low bidder generally is the low bidder for a reason. I am very happy and relieved I went with Home Exterior Systems.
Areas For Improvement: My expectations were met 100%. If I was asked for anything I would change say if I owned the company, my only change would be a wrap or nice paint job on the tool and dump trailers. That's it. I wouldn't change a thing about the process, people or techniques used from start to finish.
Areas Of Satisfaction: A companies best asset is its people. Home Exterior Systems at all levels from the receptionist, sales, owners, and anyone of the guys on the work site presented themselves and their company in a very professional manner, were very diligent with their time on the job site, had an amazing 'economy of motion' in organizing materials / tools for the work at hand. I feel as if everyone involved in my project treated my property as if it were their own. The workers left me with the impression that they treat the company as their own company rather than just working for someone. They were very proud to be affiliated with Home Exterior Systems. Nothing but positive energy from all the crew and staff.
Additional Comments: I could not be more happy with Home Exterior Systems. I have been telling everybody that asks me about the experience to 'Engage Home Exterior Systems With confidence void of headaches or surprises!!!'

And they initiated contact when needed (ex: letting us know when they had to change a date due to weather conditions).2 - Dependability - They always followed through on providing the services they promised. 3 - Personnel - Their workers stayed focused on their jobs. Also, I liked the way the supervisor treated the installation workers, guiding instead of yelling and giving them sufficient breaks. That shows me that their skills are valued by the company, which I believe to be important to the quality of the final product. I have seen workers treated terribly by other companies and I would never hire those companies again.
