We have been very pleased with our dealings with Hawthorne Partners. Everyone from the sales staff through the closing and follow up process has been very helpful and responsive. We are very happy with our new home.
The one level floor plan appealed to us since that was difficult to find in this area. We were moving to Pittsburgh from out of state and did not want a large multi-story house. Instead of spending roughtly the same amount of money on a large older home we could get a new one-story home. The location was also good to work in McCandless. You can have a beautiful new home with all the available options. Also, and very important to us, it would work for our dog.

This is my first experience with new construction. I fell in love with the model and then brought friends who do construction building to see it. They raved about the quality of workmanship in every aspect. In addition to that, I am so impressed with the professionalism of everyone I have come in contact with during the purchase of my new home.

Our home at the Courtyards at Cobblestone is the first home that we have built from the ground up. Hawthorne Partners, Inc and Epcon offered the perfect floorplan and courtyard space to suit our lifestyle. We have been in our home 6 months now and could not be happier. We want to extend our gratitude and appreciation to all who helped us make our dream home come true!
There were a few mix-ups regarding some of the options we chose but they were very accomodating in correcting them.

I would highly recommend the Hawthorne building experience that we had. From the begging to the end they were courteous and timely. They met all of our expectations and then some.We had a positive experience overall.
The thing that prompted our decision to buy in this community is the fact that we found a carriage home with a basement.
The single family home, maintenance free lifestyle, the one-level floor plan with a basement, the new community in the North Hills, and easy access to the city.
Doug Kaine is an exceptional construction supervisor. He answered all questions, gave suggestions and was willing to go the extra mile for us to achieve the home we dreamed. He Is very knowledgable, explained things thoroughly and gave a honest opinion. He gained our trust and respect.

Homes are well built, well insulated for the cold winters and great floor plans. Various upgrades are available and if you desired the standard package it is more than adequate. You are able to make standard and upgrade selections early on in the build process which saves time and money.

We were afraid to build, but Hawthorne Partners made it a reality for us. It was a painless experience. The workers are knowledgeable and the communication is excellent. Anyone thinking about building a single family dwelling should consider Hawthorne Partners above any other company. They exceeded our expectations.
I was happy with the communication and the building process. We looked for a house for a long time and we didn't want to build, but when I saw the quality and the location we decided to go with Hawthorne Partners. We never had any issues, there was no damage, and everything went smoothly. The process was a pleasure, and I would never shy away from having to build again.
Erin is amazing. Sarah has been awesome. Jackie has been wonderful. Dave has been amazing. All of them should be recognized for their outstanding service.

I also wanted to make a special mention to another employee Jackie Zirwas. Jackie was instrumental in various aspects from setting up appoinments to getting proper paperwork in order. Jackie and Sarah were both very positive and professional in the planning aspect of our new home.
Sarah Liapes is an incredible employee and any company should feel very confident with her work ethics. She is very knowledgable of the home, layout, options, etc and indeed gets back to the buyer with complete thorough information. She goes the extra mike to research all possibilities. She was a joy.

Our experience here at Courtyards at Arden Mills has been just great. They have taken care of every need. We have racing horses that you can see from our back window; that's very rare and it's great. We also have a walnut tree and that's wonderful. The complex lets us keep our dog here which we greatly appreciate. The development is great and the maintenance is great here as well. It was a big change for us to move here but it's been wonderful so far. We wanted a one level house and found it here at Courtyards at Arden Mills. My wife and daughters love it here. We are very happy here at Arden Mills. This review is an unanimous agreement between me, my wife, and two daughters. - Richard and Jeanmarie H. and our daughter Janet M.
The location is great; our daughter who is living us and is a homeowner is attending a local college that is near by. It was convenient for both my daughter and my wife and I. Our other daughter teaches at that same local college so it was convenient in that sense as well. We wanted to downsize so that's what brought us down here. The home also met the one level criteria. The fact that it was a brand new home, that was a big change for us. We were living in an older home and it consisted of a lot of work. Moving here, the maintenance does everything here for a fee which seemed reasonable. All these factors entered into our decision.
We chose this community because of the quality of the products that they used. I upgraded almost everything but even the basic stuff, if I had to, I would have gladly taken.
