There was a miscommunication regarding the start date at the beginning.
Construction Quality: Tom did an excellent job of installing the windows. He was especially detailed when caulking around the windows. The seams are smooth and clean.
Product Selections Process: Bob did a good job of matching the right window types with my needs. The back of our house faces West and the windows installed do an excellent job of keeping heat out during the summer and letting in heat during the winter.
Areas Of Satisfaction: Installation was smooth and minimized disruption to our day to day activities.
Areas For Improvement: We initially had a mix up with the installation date. As a result we had to turn away the installer when then initially arrived. There could have been a little better communication during the planning steps.
Recognized Excellence: Tom did the window installation and was awesome to work with. He was very professional and extremely nice during the entire installation.

Areas For Improvement: In the effort to keep costs in line, Bob suggested inserts in a few openings instead of full replacement. We asked them to come back to finish the look around the windows without the white quarter round. When they did so. we appreciate the appearance of the windows.

I don't know how he worked outside in that frigid weather, but everything turned out beautifully. He did a very thorough and complete job and everything was cleaned up nicely, both inside and out!
Areas For Improvement: The only thing I can think of is the time it took from order to installation. It didn't inconvenience me in any way, but I was told it would be about 8 weeks and it took a little longer. Like I say, not a big deal. I understand with the weather and holidays and all.

Additional Comments: After the sticker shock and disappointment had worn off from the first quote we got for the picture window we wanted and knew we couldn't afford, Josh worked hard to offer some creative alternatives that would better fit our project limitations. In the end, we came up with a window that turned out to be a better fit both style and cost-wise than what we wanted. That was impressive to me.

Provided different company web sites - didn't find them as useful as Dave! Really appreciated the showroom appointment. Allowed me have a better understanding of the windows we were considering and was really helpful - being able to see and open/close the windows etc.
Areas Of Satisfaction: General overall a good experience.a little confusing regarding initial start date but quickly resolved. Very much appreciated company's willingness to go a little father to keep project going. Example: not having to find space for dumpster, especially not having to pay the city to have one in the street. Example 2: Jeremy coming up with reasonable solution to rotting floor & wall problem.

Brian Marnholtz was very responsive and professional throughout the process. He really gave Window Outfitters a professional and competent "face." He advocated effectively for us with our insurance company, selected appropriate materials to match our existing windows, and was clear about the process. My mortgage company had an onerous process to document the completion of the work before they would sign off on the insurance payments, and Brian and others at Window Outfitters graciously fulfilled a string of ridiculous requests from them.

Areas Of Satisfaction: Installers did their work with minimal interruption to activities in our home and did their best to stay on schedule in spite of weather issues.
Areas For Improvement: Weather caused some minor delays in completing the project on schedule.

Recognized Excellence: Jeffrey the door installer especially because he caught a mistake that had been made in the color of the cladding (I believe it's called) and corrected it. Did not blindly install the wrong item thus saving me a lot of grief latter on.

Areas For Improvement: There was miscommunication about staining the woodwork prior to the start of the job. It was resolved professionally.
