The quality of the work and the workers, installers and painter were excellent and very professional. They took the time to explain what they were doing, what I could expect in regard to time lines and how to keep both doors functioning well and looking nice. Freelite did a quality job from start to finish. I've received a number of compliments about the doors and frame from my neighbors and friends and I'm very pleased.
Product Selections Process: I pretty much knew what I wanted in regard to materials but Josh at Freelite did review my choices with me and help me know that I had made the right choices.
Areas For Improvement: None. Freelite did an excellent job in all aspects of the job.
Areas Of Satisfaction: I was concerned that the frame around the door would not be as nice as the door itself and that the small area between the door itself and the floor tile would look tacky. This was not a concern I had with Freelite alone but any of the companies I interviewed. Freelite did a quality job way beyond my expectations. The doors are very nice but the frame and "landing" is fantastic. It's this attention to detail that makes Freelite such a winner.
Recognized Excellence: Everyone was great. It's hard to select just one person but the painter who stained the door and the wood strip between the door and floor tile was exceptional. It was apparent that he takes great pride in his work.

Areas Of Satisfaction: We have a skylight in the kitchen and in each bathroom, and when you stand under it in the middle of the day, it was hot. It was like standing under a heat lamp. The skylight was a traditional dome thing, and after the Freelite went in there's no heat anymore when standing under it. Before that, it was hot.

They couldn't install the size we wanted, but that wasn't their fault. We alternated the install so we had to delay the installation. They did it was sooner than we thought they would, but it was still delayed from the first installation.
Recognized Excellence: I think the mechanics that installed the product were very good. They were excellent and had no problems. They ran into an unforeseen problem and resolved it. We had to reschedule the installation. I didn't like the fact that they were six weeks out for the install, but then it turned out they put the product in in 10 days. They had another glitch with a different project and had some free time to do my installation.

They told me to relax and that their painter would come out to stain and paint the door. Joe came out and did a beautiful job. The quality of the personnel was great.

Areas Of Satisfaction: The stucco person did the side walls but didn't address the threshold. When I mentioned, josh immediately completed the work. If he hadn't, it would have been obvious that I had a door carved out. Thanks to him, it now looks as if the door was part of the original plan--which is how a homeowner wants every renovation to look.
