Areas Of Satisfaction: We are extremely happy with the quality of the finished product. This was not an easy project and we were constrained by plot shape, conservation, flood zones and gas line installation issues. We had to raise the house to be able to make the desired renovations. We worked together as a team with Encore to address all the challenges. Thank you to Kathy DeMeyer, Robert Ridener and Barry Tuttle for remaining flexible and creative as we made changes to the scope of the job. We feel fortunate to have what we consider the "A team" on our project! Kathy was a great help in moving the project from a concept to a job site and could always be trusted to "do the right thing." Barry provided valuable design expertise. We especially appreciated Robert's "can do" attitude, timely communication and sincere desire to get the job done and make us happy customers!
Overall Experience Summary: We are extremely satisfied with Encore! This is the second time we have worked with them and we would not hesitate to recommend them to family or friends.

We felt comfortable from the beginning of our introduction to Dale and his team, through the end. Also Mark was excellent as the on sight project manager, and always went out ofhis way to see us when we were at the location. Dale was very helpful in helping us get the project approved by the town. The entire team was very responsive, and kept very close to their original timeline. We felt comfortable from the beginning that the design. budgeting and ultimately the demolition and construction would be appropriately handled
Professional & Organized: The software package to track our project and the regular updates on timelines and budget were terrific. We were always up to date on what was happening. Our questions were answered quickly and comprehensively. Communications were simple and we probably used every method Encore provided -- email, Builder Trend, texting, phone -- with quick responses that required little additional followup.
Construction Quality: Excellent work product and attention to detail. Many things were adjusted even before we noted them. We really appreciated the activity to create the best outcomes without us having to detail everything. When we did point something out, it was handled professionally and quickly.
Communication: As already noted, we used all sorts of communication and we always received quick responses and, more importantly, quick actions. i don't think we had any issues where we needed to bring up something more than one time. Great tool for recording progress and setting timelines. But the personal touch we always received was what we appreciated most. Having a discussion with Robert, we knew things would be addressed to the satisfaction of all.
Problem Resolution: We always had a very open dialogue going on the open issues and how they would be resolved. With a project of this size, there were big things we would talk though but a lot of small things we noted that could have easily fallen through the cracks. They never did.
Clean & Safe: Always as orderly as a construction site could be. We were surprised at how the site was cleaned up on a regular basis and kept safe for all of us.
Trust: Absolutely followed through on every commitment.
Improvement Suggestion: We went into this large project having heard many negative comments from others about their contractors when they did similar work. We truly NEVER had any doubts or second thoughts going through the entire project with Encore by our side. There was never any issue we didn't resolve to both our satisfactions -- we are exceptionally pleased with the journey and with the result!
Overall Experience Summary: Unbelievably happy with the process, the results, and having met so many good, talented people along the way. Thank you for the engagement and our beautiful new interior remodel.

When a subcontractor revised their estimate, they got a second estimate and asked their preferred subcontractor to honor the lower estimate. Also when a subcontractor could not complete the work in a timely fashion, they hired another subcontractor who could. They recommend quality products saving the customer research time.
Overall Experience Summary: I am very appreciative of the work Encore did. Curtis is a capable project manager who insists on quality work and cares about the happiness of the customer. He never made excuse when I questioned something or tried to get out of doing something.

Areas Of Satisfaction: We were satisfied with all areas but loved having the same people show up every day at 7:30am. Knowing someone was onsite and handling everything that was going on made us very comfortable. Also, knowing that our designer was in daily contact with the contractors onsite kept everything running smoothly.
Improvement Suggestion: No...everything wen't so well. I wouldn't change anything.

Areas Of Satisfaction: The quality of work was exceptional, and no detail was overlooked. They had many opportunities to take a short cut to save time or effort that would have gone unnoticed. Instead, they were diligent in making us aware of everything that was impacting the project, whether positive or negative.Their use of the BuilderTrend website was very helpful as we are out-of-town and not able to keep close tabs on the project. Seeing pictures and having the calendar at our fingertips gave us piece of mind, and being able to track every change gave us some ownership of the process. While everything was a large expense, I never felt "surprised" by the cost of things. Encore had done a great job providing estimates and quotes that were reasonable and didn't change substantially once work was underway.
Overall Experience Summary: I have been very pleased with the staff at Encore. They always made sure to keep us up to date with everything going on. When they sensed we were frustrated, we got the extra attention we needed. And the house turned out beautifully!

Areas Of Satisfaction: Communication, honesty, forthright. They are above the board 100%. There was nothing unknown, if we had any questions, they were like "you're the customer, you come first". There wasn't hint of them being bugged they went out of the way with what we wanted. we had a thing about the shade of grey on the kitchen beams, and they made it a little lighter,, no hesitation. He was very professional and communicated very well. He made himself available 24/7, but I tried not to bother him off hours. He was willing to do what was necessary to keep me happy and keep my mind at ease, since we were in Florida for most of the time.
Innovation: I liked the web site where I could see project updates. I also liked the computer disc, with audio, of the entire job at a crucial juncture. This enabled us to make minor modifications.
