Budget: Clearly an important area - I have been very pleased with this aspect. No surprises - when any issues arose (as they always will with a complicated project), Dolphin team worked together to find/propose acceptable solutions.
Communication: Bi-weekly billing/ update process works well.
Areas For Improvement: None - we have been very happy with the entire process.
Areas Of Satisfaction: Design - difficult site, Dolphin worked patiently with us over many months to refine the plans and then with the ARB to get them approved. Construction Process - happy with all aspects - process, issue resolution etc. We expect final product to be very good.

Areas Of Satisfaction: Quality of the work and the subs. Dolphin selects excellent subcontractors and they do an excellent job. Particularly the finish contractor and the painting contractor were excellent.
Lead Source: Knew about them from previous work on Daniel Island. Great reputation.
Site Security: A lockbox was provided and monitored. Emphasis on a secure site was given to all subcontractors.
Understand Building Process: We are very much involved in the process and feel a good sense of upcoming milestones.
Construction Quality: The quality of our home is excellent. Good focus on making sure workmanship is top rate.
Communication: Response to questions and concerns is generally within the same day. Text and phone conversations are responsive.
Problem Resolution: We feel they respond quickly to our concerns and have effective solutions.
Trust: Very effective.
Likely To Recommend: I've already discussed this with a number of people and share our positive experiences. As the first custom home we've ever built is nearing completion, we appreciate the opportunity to look back and reflect on our experience with our builder. Dolphin has been a great builder to work with in this experience. They have managed our project effectively and maintained a high level of communication throughout the experience. Changes in the home were effectively integrated into the schedule and we're actually ahead of plan which is much appreciated. Selection and management of the subcontractors demonstrates a long term relationship with all which has helped to make sure the quality of our home is top notch. We are especially appreciative of Catherine Ann's assistance in design and selections for our home as her experience has been invaluable in helping to make all the decisions necessary. Tyson's patience with us as we get directly involved in various aspects of the project has been appreciated and his ability to identify solutions to our concerns along the way has made the project proceed smoothly. We are very pleased and proud to have Dolphin as our builder and look forward to moving into our home early!

The architect clearly understood our objectives and executed the design with great skill and professionalism. When challenging issues came up (foundation design to allow for nearby live oaks, for example) everyone worked as a team to resolve the issues and worked well with local officials. Our project manager was extemely dilligent and attentive throughout the process to our needs and objectives. He was extremely thorough in his attention to detail in the construction of the home and follow-through on punchlist items. He identified issues and corrective work that we would have missed and has followed through accordingly.Dolphin's interior designer was very diligent and very helpful. She made things much easier for us throughout all the phases of building and completing our home.
