We could not ask for better people. We came to regard each one as friends as well as providers of a service. We miss the interaction with Tony, Rich, Sarah, Paul, and especially Doug. When someone comes into your home everyday for months, it's kinds like a new roommate. Doug kept a perfect balance of being invisible until we needed communication. And then his responsiveness was total. He and Tony both cared, cared very much, about their work. Their pride of craftsmanship is evident in every detail.
Areas Of Satisfaction: Every single aspect exceeded our expectations In particular, Sarah's help was crucial and I did not expect such personal attention to the smaller, more personal choices.
Why Us?: Paul. His character and demeanor instilled immediate trust. And he let us know that he would stay involved after the contract was signed. The Company's business plan - only taking on 5 jobs at a time, Not starting until all was ready. Providing prospects with a 5 page list of every local person they had worked for. We could see if anyone we knew had used them and get an unbiased report of their satisfaction. Only a Company that is proud of what they do would provide that. The Company's history, its character, Sense of Family and Community Being invited to their annual company picnic - we felt happy to be amongst everyone connected to Criner. They made us feel optimistic about our local community and its future

The quality of their communication with the homeowner is first class. I have some experience in this area. There were never any circumstances where something needed to be said and wasn't. They kept us informed of the schedule. They let us know if there were any variations. We felt we knew exactly what was going on.
Lead Source: About 20 years ago we saw Robert Criner at a local home expo. We were impressed with him. We probably talked to someone who had used his services. We were very pleased. They did a major job for us a long time ago. They're the only people we think of and there are plenty of people to choose from.

Why Us?: Quick response with good communication, no high pressure sales, confidence with process after home visit and sit-down discussions with Ben and Mr. Criner. Also, the fact that one lead would be on my job the entire time and would be there personally every day to manage trade contractors while they worked.
Recognized Excellence: Ben Rooker was exceptional as the initial contact. Very polite, knowledgeable, and not at all pushy. Ebony Stephenson was also a delight to work with. She listened to my thoughts and ideas and made excellent suggestions. She was very patient as I picked out finishes, meeting me in showrooms, and was open when I wanted to make changes along the way. Terry Thomas was always pleasant, available and informative when I called with questions and came out several times to check in that all was going as planned. Lastly, I cannot say enough about Tony Domingos. I was so dreading a long project with my home being upside down and having people in an out. My fears were unwarranted with Tony. He was here promptly every morning, worked hard all day, was usually heard pleasantly whistling to himself, cleaned up thoroughly and was overall a pleasure to have around. His attention to detail and quality of craftsmanship could not be beat. Thank you, Tony, for a job well done, above and beyond expectations!
Review: In planning a remodel of our master bath and adding a walk-in closet to the outside of our home, our tension was running high as we contemplated which contractor to hire. Many times with past projects, something would usually come up and there would be disappointment. After our initial contact with Criner Remodeling, from that first call until the end of the project, we could not be more thrilled with our experience. All expectations were laid out ahead of time from selection of materials and finishes to a detailed budget. Everyone we had contact with from the office staff to our Project Manager, Tony Domingos, were polite, knowledgeable, and extremely capable at their jobs. Communication was immediate either by phone or email. Tony was on the job promptly every day without fail, checking in with us in case there were questions, pleasantly whistling while he worked, supervising all trade contractors, and thoroughly cleaning up every evening (even vaccuming). There was absolutely no stress on our part throughout the entire remodel. We were contacted several times afterward to check to make sure we were satisfied with everything. I would not hesitate to use Criner in the future or to recommend them.

They also found a creative solution to hide the air handler, hot water heater, and storage by enclosing them in closets with louvered doors to allow for air circulation. They also found ways to properly seal our existing garage doors to keep debris from funneling into the garage area. The garage is not only functional, it actually looks like a room.

We interviewed a few other remodeling companies before we choose Criner. We were very impressed with their proposals for our additional bathroom, and had many feasible options to choose from. We were very satisfied with the quality of the materials used and the expertise of the carpenters. They were all efficient, friendly, clean, and very trust worthy individuals. They exceeded our expectations from the beginning till completion. The final product is exactly what we wanted. We couldn't be happier with this experience, and highly recommend Criner Remodeling for any remodeling needs.
