In the end, it was completely worth every penny as Creative Contracting helped us completely transform a dilapidated and outdated place that we basically used to sleep in and store our stuff in when we went down to the Shore into a gorgeous home that I would be happy to entertain in and even live in as a permanent residence. My wife and I can’t believe it’s the same place!
Additional Comments: They stayed within the price quoted for the job. It was initially much more than we had planned to spend but we were also not very realistic given what we actually wanted and the level of sophistication we were going for. They were uniformly professional and kept us updated on the progress each week. The final outcome was simply amazing. Our condo was completely transformed. Final Walk-Thru 2: Yes, it was very helpful when Bob came at the end and reviewed the final details and walked through with us. It provided reassurance that all job tasks were complete and that Creative would stand behind their workmanship in the rare case that something would go wrong.
Additional Comments: We were extremely impressed that the work was completed well ahead of the original schedule, and the communication throughout was outstanding.

They demonstrate excellent thinking in their planning, listen to their customers, work in an organized fashion, and deliver quality work at a fair price. Our two bathrooms are beautiful, and we recommend them highly.
Expertise: Bob and his team have a broad and deep expertise. They demonstrated their ability in all aspects of the design and completion of the project. They followed best practices in engineering and construction.
Professional & Organized: Definately yes! We were given a spreadsheet so we knew the expected time line for work and payments, and they adhered to the schedule.
Innovation: Creative Contracting brought to our attention a number of innovations that we had not been previously aware of. These improved the final product.
Schedule: Our two bathroom simultaneous renovation was done in a timely manner. When we ran into a tile supply issue, they worked around this material problem and stayed on schedule overall.
Budget: When first meeting with Bob, he clearly defined the range of project costs, and he gave good advice on options that would save us money.
Construction Quality: Our bathrooms are beautiful. Kim assisted us with making selections based on color, quality, design and cost. This included tile, granite, cabinetry, plumbing, and paint colors. The workmanship was top quality. Specifically the tile work was impressively put together and the installation of the cabinetry and associated trim work was completed beautifully.
Communication: Communication was excellent. Any questions, concerns, or issues were addressed quickly and completely. Chris was on top of all aspects of the project. He quickly respondes to any question we had, and he researched any information that we needed.
Problem Resolution: We had few problems, but those that came up were quickly resolved to our satisfaction.
Clean & Safe: Yes. Traffic patterns through our house were protected with special coverings to insure no damage to existing surfaces. At the end of everyday the site was cleaned.
Employees & Subcontractors: We had been thinking about renovating our bathrooms for about two years. We were overwhelmed with the idea of the project until we met with Bob. He listened to our needs and developed a plan that addressed those needs. The subcontractors were very professional, skilled, and they offered useful suggestions. Also, they were enjoyable to have around.
Value: We did have other estimates and Creative Constracting was the most favorable in terms of money and the time to complete the task.
Trust: Absolutely! We spoke with another customer of Creative Contracting who had an extremely positive experience.
Punchlist: Yes!
Easier Than Expected: They are very professional, and as a customer, we knew they were giving us good advice. They helped us conceptualize the project to make it easier to approach it.
Letter of Recommendation: We are most pleased with the results, and we would be happy to share our experience with others.

Our mistake was not signing on with CC from the beginning!!! After months of stress and frustrations dealing w/a contractor who was condescending, gave excuses upon excuses for the delay in starting the project, and then after demolition, left us hanging without a kitchen for months, we were became leery and skeptical on not only the unethical business practices, but also very concerned for the quality of workmanship. As a result, we decided to pursue alternative contractors and this time, we used NARI as the underlying resource for information regarding quality standards expected of contractors. CC was listed as one of the local NARI member and when we discussed our situation, Kim @ CC was most compassionate and made arrangements for Bob to come out and see our 'living nightmare'. I was most impressed that Bob came out on a Saturday, prior to leaving for vacation...and then during the visit, provided us with guidance and recommendations regarding our situation that were beyond our expectations. We didn't feel the pressure of a salesperson trying to get us to sign, but rather, someone who truly cared and had empathy for our situation. Needless to say, we were not as eager to enter into a contract and have major trust issue after what we've gone through. However, CC was most patient, addressing our budget restraints, questions and concerns but never pressuring us to sign or commit.The best decision we made regarding our kitchen remodel was to cut our loss with the unethical contractor and sign on with CC!! Working w/CC was a pleasure; the crew was professional and always arrived early, putting in a full day's work. They were diligent in cleaning and putting things back so that we can function as best as possible during the construction, being very mindful of our needs. We were also very impressed with Rich's meticulousness and attention to details!! CC started construction on the remodeling of our kitchen around end of Oct and by the second week of Dec, we had a fully functional kitchen once again! CC truly turned what was a nightmare of an ordeal and made it so much more pleasant as they delivered us our dream kitchen. Despite trust issues due to a bad contractor experience when we initially started the kitchen remodel....through our relationship w/CC, we have learned to trust, believe and have faith again. We had several other contractors tell us that "they would find a way to make it work" for the lower initial budget. Bob was very patient to review with us a number of times how our choices affected the budget from a material and labor standpoint. We came to the realization that Bob had our best interest at heart. He was willing to do a smaller project but he really understood what we wanted and warned us when we were potentially making choices that would help our budget but lower the overall quality and results of the project. He was right and we're glad we listened to him and follow his advice.
Construction Quality: We have looked at friends and neighbors homes who had similar projects (and they have looked at ours) and without question the workmanship was exquisite.
Employees & Subcontractors: We cant say enough good things about Ward. He is a Renaissance Man! His skill set and attitude about everything was Grade A. His work ethic is beyond reproach.Kim was so good with my wife to help guide her through the selection process and offer her expertise. She ended up spending a lot of time with my wife and I m sure its more than what she thought it would be but she never uttered a word. They really understand the concept that doing even a small bathroom project or two takes time and we were thrilled with the results
Areas For Improvement: We thought the job would start sooner than it did but once it did it stayed on schedule.
Areas Of Satisfaction: The caring attitude, the patience, and Ward's skill
Recommend Builder: and we have. We learned a lot as we went through this process and one of them is that we got what we paid for. We have friends who may have paid less but it was reflected in the project delays or lack of quality materials or workmanship they received.
