C D and R has a process that they will take you through on your remodel project, from the first meeting to the post-construction home cleaning and final walk through. At every step they were mindful of our wishes and brought their considerable experience to 'design-build' an amazing final product. We have been in the house 2 months and I almost can't believe how beautiful our home is. This is a team you can trust with your dreams.
These people are darn good. They do what they say they will do and then some. Not the most inexpensive in town but then again you get what you pay for. Remodeling investments are long term and the CDR product is up to the challenge.

They are very deliberate in the design and budgeting stage, so we were able to work with them to get exactly the renovation we wanted. Their work has transformed our 100-year old house, restoring Craftsman character that had been lost in remodeling by prior owners. They are the cream of the crop.

Workmanship and attention to detail were excellent, but we were especially pleased with design ideas (for example, extending carport roof) that we wouldn't have thought of (and of which we were initially skeptical).

My experience working with CDR was far more enjoyable than I ever imagined a kitchen remodel could be. At every stage of the process from design to construction to follow up, every person I dealt with was professional, creative, friendly and careful. They do high quality work and are not satisfied until things are right, even if that takes time and persistence. The end product is beautiful and highly functional. I am very impressed with how effectively they used a fairly small space. I would definitely recommend them to a friend and would happily use them again myself.
I have seen their work on house tours and in magazines and had an opportunity to chat with Chelly at one of the tour sites. The more I saw of their work and the more I read about them, the more certain I was that they were the right contractors for me.
I enjoyed working with every member of the team and was impressed by both their expertise and their communication skills. Everyone was friendly and easy to have around, and they all seem to care about the quality of the work they are performing. This extends to all the subcontractors as well. The quality of the final product is everything I could have hoped for. I love my new kitchen and feel that I got excellent value for my money.
There was no part of the process that disappointed me. The initial budget discussions turned out to be unrealistic, but once I signed the contract, everything proceeded as expected. The one problem we had was resolved by Craftsman not by the subcontractor. I don't have a clear way of judging how strongly CDR pursued a resolution, but I am willing to assume they acted on my behalf.
We have had lots of experience with contractors whose attitude, language, and demeanor are inappropriate. CD and R was a breath of fresh air!

They experienced an unavoidable injury to a lead project manager which delayed the project a few days while adjustments could be made to substitute the same level of expertise required to complete the work.
Ho often can you say that you honestly miss the sub contractors that were working on a job in your home? The CDR team is frankly amazing in their cohesiveness. Wade and Chelly were patient and welcoming from our very first meeting, presenting us with numerous options for our project. Our foreman Johnny Simons was calm, level headed, diligent, and extremely detail oriented throughout our job. The subcontractors were respectful of our home and our family and honestly a pleasure to have around. I cannot imagine a client not being completely satisfied by the experience they will have if they choose CDR.

honestly, they met or exceeded my expectations at every step of the job. On the rare occasions when I thought something was not done they way we wanted it, they listened and addressed the concerns immediately.
All the subs were good folks, nice to have around the house. In some cases, electrical for instance, they certainly did more than just their called upon parts of the job. They assisted me in setting up equipment and made return trips to the job site to fine tune things that needed it.
Phone calls to the office, or to our foreman were always returned in a timely fashion, usually within an hour.
Job was finsihed ahead of schedule.
Our foreman, Johnny Simons was VERY detailed oriented. He kept a vigilant eye on the sub contractors who also proved to be extremely good at what they did.

The staff at Craftsman went above and beyond to help us flesh out our ideas during the design phase of our project, and then exercised superior craftsmanship in building our new kitchen. The project was completed on schedule and we were kept informed about all essential details during the process. Any minor questions or concerns we had were immediately resolved. The staff was truly a pleasure to work with and the finished product is absolutely beautiful. We are thrilled with the results!

Our service helps Guildmembers monitor customer satisfaction and -- if they choose to publish survey feedback on our public website at guildquality.com -- articulate the quality of their service for prospective customers.
All of the Guildmember information we publish at guildquality.com has been provided to us either by the member (such as pictures of work and biographical information) or by their customers via one of our surveys (customer comments, performance summaries, and reviews).
All of the customer feedback that we publish is derived from the customers we survey. Our Guildmembers provide us with their customers' contact information, we conduct the surveys, they receive the feedback, and -- if they have chosen to make their feedback public -- the member's performance report is automatically updated to reflect the response. Members may choose to publish a summary of either all of their feedback or their most recent twelve months of feedback.
In addition to average performance ratings and survey statistics, GuildQuality also publishes two types of customer commentary: Comments and Reviews.
A comment has been provided by a survey respondent in response to any one of the survey questions we ask, and a member may or may not choose to publish it. Often customers provide unsolicited testimonials or compliments, and members can choose to share these comments in their published performance report.
Many Guildmembers choose to participate in our formal review process. These members have added an additional question on their survey: "If you'd like to provide a public review of your experience working with the Guildmember, please share it here." In contrast to comments, which a member selects to have published, we publish all reviews, provided they are at least 30 words long. With each review, we include a one to five star rating provided by the survey respondent.
