How Did We Do?: Overall we are very happy. See #20. One area of disappointment was expectation that we could get an exact match on the floor stain. Still a bit bothered that the new floor doesn't really match in spite of two tries. Wondering if we could have tried more samples before we did a full restain (still kicking myself that I didn't ask that!) or if its just not an attainable goal. So that is one regret. I'd say for future, set expectations that an exact match is hard to get. We did appreciate that when we raised our concerns with the floors, that you did re-do the floors / offer refund and did so without question. This really showed the character of the company. Thank you.
Additional Comments: We were nervous about our first big renovation project. Its not easy to be displaced from your kitchen, especially with young children. However, our experience with Construction Ahead was fantastic. They helped us throughout every stage, including the planning stages, and then executed the renovation of the kitchen successfully. Sarah really helped with the design component. They stayed on schedule and communicated clearly throughout the project. They were always friendly and brought a lot of good ideas to us, answered all of our questions and helped to troubleshoot unexpected issues. Their responsiveness and professionalism made the process smooth from start to finish. As two busy professionals, their reliability was of utmost importance. We would highly recommend them for any future projects. Best of all, we now have a kitchen that we are really enjoying.

Punchlist: Construction Ahead did such a great job that I didn't have a punchlist!
Dust & Dirt Control: At the end of every day, I heard the shop vac running and knew the work day was coming to an end. The subs followed the same guidelines. The house was as neat at it could be given all that we were doing!
Additional Comments: I really can't speak highly enough about Construction Ahead. The quality of the work is outstanding, but the level of trust with all of the workers is even more important. There are no sleepless nights wondering about the work or the people in your home. There's no worrying that the job won't be done well or that corners are being cut. That level of comfort when I had them in my home for months meant so much to me.

Trust: Construction Ahead follow through on all commitments. This is always a concern when hiring a contractor but after meeting Austin and team and view previous/current project that they were on and talking to those clients I was sold.
Creative Solutions: The first and biggest project was to create a master bedroom, large master bath, and walk-in closet they provided several designs. We discussed the pros and cons of each and select the best for us.
Communication: They were alway always accessible via phone, text, and email.
Employees & Subcontractors: They are very courteous and take care in the treatment of your home.
Dust & Dirt Control: Construction/Remodeling is dirt especially in the demo stage, they took adequate measure to keep the dust to a minimum. They also cleaned up the job site every day.
Recognized Excellence: Clay - Lead and Sahara - Designer have always been exceptional durning the multiple projects CA has performed.
Lead Carpenter Performance: Clay communicates the work being performed, when subs are showing up, and allow you interject/question on things they are doing.
How Did We Do?: I extremely satisfied with the end result of past projects, any dissatisfaction durning the process was worked out early by communicating this with Construction Ahead.

How Did We Do?: The cleanliness!!! I was shocked at the cleanliness in the kitchen at all times. Never did the crew leave the house at night when the floor was not spotless, everything was put up in it's proper place, the garage was neat and orderly - it was just amazing!!! There was never any, I mean any, dust in any other part of the house! It was unbelievable!

Construction Ahead did an extensive makeover, and they were here for more than 5 months. Of course there were times that it was messy and I was inconvenienced, but that just goes with any renovation. Austin was so organized and efficient, and I was almost always informed about what would happen next. He is most reliable and trustworthy, which were two very important traits to me. I would highly recommend him to anyone (in fact, I've already done so), and I would most definitely use him for any future project. Kellie Boyce is the Design person for Construction Ahead, and she was wonderful to work with. She's very creative and resourceful and was able to find solutions for most everything. Always keeping the customer's budget and taste in mind, she helps you with the many, many choices that have to be made. On top of all that, she is so much fun to be around! Together, Austin and Kellie make a strong and formidable team that I think is just the best.

Creative Solutions: Like most renovation projects, we ran into some unexpected things behind our walls and in our basement. Bill Reilly and Construction Ahead in general were always extremely thorough and transparent. I felt I had the right information to make the best decisions, and they provided very reasonable solutions.
PM Communication: Bill almost always responded within a few hours, and being able to text was extremely helpful. I very much enjoyed working with Bill - he was a pleasure to have in our home. And I can't imagine saying that about many service professionals!
Recognized Excellence: Bill Reilly and Austin Foster both seemed to go above and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly.
How Did We Do?: I was extremely satisfied with the communication throughout and the quality of the end product. Our house feels so much more robust with the improvements Construction Ahead made. The prior work by another company seemed a bit shoddy, but Construction Ahead was able to fix the problems and enhance our home considerably.

How Did We Do?: This is our second major project w/C.A......they deliver very high quality results, provide realistic schedules, adhere to building codes, and are meticulous in their approach to customer service and satisfaction. They are not a low ball cost contractor, they simply deliver a great product at a fair price. Our only less than positive experience in this redo was the plumbing subcontractor. However, C.A. brought in a 2nd plumber to make things right at no cost to us...THAT's a great way to change a negative to a positive.

Budget: It was clear that the team members understood that our budget was important to us and was careful to let us know about costs outside the approved plan when we asked about modifications or extra work.
Construction Quality: Being onsite every day gave me the opportunity to see first hand the materials and workmanship for each part of the project and all components lived up to expectations; no shortcuts or "work arounds".
Communication: GOOOOOD and pleasant communication! Easily accessible and very responsive! I think it is important to become an expert on gauging how much the customer wants to be consulted on aspects of the project. Being onsite was unique in that I could be consulted at any time ... that was great for me because I am particular about how I like things to look. I like being consulted so I would say that it is better to err on the side of asking for input too often than not enough.
Value: The quality of the work has added to the value of our home as well as to our quality of life. Our wonderful new space is something that we will enjoy for a long time to come.
Additional Comments: We've been impressed with the quality of the people on the Construction Ahead team, as well as the work that they are capable of doing. This company has unquestionable integrity.
