Additional Comments: This job involved residing and painting of the Calvary Presbyterian Church manse house. As a Building and Grounds Elder, I was trying to find the best way to repair years of neglect on the exterior of an old building. I am confident that we will not have to do much to maintain the building's new Hardieplank siding for some time. It is always difficult to find people in the congregation to do big jobs. I realized that it was better to find professionals to do this kind of work, and Coddinton's team did a fine job for us. Everyone has commented on how nice the house looks, as we work to present a refreshed and renewed face to the community in our celebration of 125 years in Enumclaw..

They were very willing to work with us to ensure the desired outcome. For example, when the color of the house wasn't as expected, they quickly rescheduled the repaint and proceeded on to the next piece of the project. In addition, they worked very well with crews from other companies that came in to do other work. Honestly, the best crew ever, with the best work ever.

The owner seems trustworthy and cares about doing the right thing rather than maximizing profit.
Improvement Suggestion: Our repair job was small, so the quickest way to schedule it was between big jobs as their schedule allowed. When they did find a slot for us (due to a delay in delivery of materials for another job), it was on very short notice. Luckily we were able to accept the appointment. I do wish that the scheduling could have gone smoother, but a good contractor tends to be in high demand so I do understand the difficulty.

Recognized Excellence: Ken Coddington and Richard Johnson were both very responsive to inquiries and accommodating requests. The crew was also fantastic but I never got a chance to meet them. Absolutely marvelous cleanup.

The construction team and painting team were always prompt and very attentive to their work, yet responsive to any inquiry we had. We were never put off. Ken the owner was quick to return phone calls or emails. We felt they did a very good job, we get many positive comments from neighbors and family.
Improvement Suggestion: No, I am not in the construction trade. I can only tell you from my perspective they did a great job and the employees worked hard and consistent.

Improvement Suggestion: SidePRO didn't leave me with a good feeling after they gave me the quote. Coddington Construction was the opposite. They are awesome.
