He came up with his own ideas to make the design plans work. Even when he had to give us bad news about plumbing, electrical, HVAC, he had already considered solutions and budget. He gave us a few alternatives. He quickly learned our values and worked within those to get the project done. The other highlight in working with Airoom was Robyn Rue. Robyn also seemed to immediately hear what our "style" was and this helped streamline the process quickly. Even as I talked about an idea, Robyn was designing it into reality. She was also great about decor. She made time for my questions both via email and phone. She even squeezed in an extra quick consult about paint color.

That to us is one of the most important factors because so many others who use cheaper contractors don't get all this included and end of spending more in the long run....

Improvement Suggestion(s): I don't think there was very much in the way of needing improvement. I think the way they handle the process and work flow was pretty good. I think a bigger thank you would be nice. We spent over $200,000 with them. It would be nice if they left a package or card to say think you. I would have liked something more memorable. We also didn't have as much of an interaction with the initial salesman during the project. It would be nice to keep contact with them because they sold us the project.
Areas Of Satisfaction: I liked the methodical process. I really loved the planning and development. We really loved the finished product. We think they gave us a better outcome than the other company we were considering.

We have a challenging property and they had to hand carry a lot of materials. They handled that well. Mark, who did the electrical part, was absolutely excellent. He was good at accommodating our family. Both the carpenters deserve praise; they did such a great job. The people who cleaned up the yard were awesome; they probably never get thanks but they deserve it. My neighbors found the dumpster removal to be excellent. The guys handled it so well; thanks to Jim Aquilla and the working crew.
Value: Airoom Architects & Builders are more expensive than others but they are worth paying extra because you get what you pay for. The quality of materials and craftsmanship are excellent.
Recommend Builder: I already have recommended Airoom Architects & Builders to a friend.
Areas Of Satisfaction: We were satisfied with the design. The design was outstanding thanks to Matt the architect. He really listened to us and helped us get what we wanted. We didn't want the house to look strange with the additional but it looks great thanks to Matt's help. The craftsmanship is top quality. Our friends in business have said it shows that Airoom Architects & Builders are using the best quality materials. Also, Heather from Airoom was wonderful. She helped me when I couldn't communicate with Jim Aquilla.

Areas Of Satisfaction: When they replaced the roof it was a slightly different color from the rest of the house. We would not have even noticed but they repainted it to match the rest of house so I was pleasantly surprised with that.
